  1. There should be. Any sane person would not assemble a Car here just for Kicks. Check the Book etc... Even better if you can avoid it. And most people will not go for something like that even if its clear. So your resale value will go for a six. My advice is, just go with the common flow. Look through the Classifieds. Even Autolanka has some good 110s and Premio Coronas of same age as of right now. go with a person who knows these things to the inspection. Do not spend everything you got on buying the thing. Expect and keep some budget reserved for minor repairs since its not brand new. That will do the trick. When I bought mine, I had to fix the central lock, Boot door lock had some minor issue, Changed the Oil Filters and did some minor touch-ups. So expect these kind of things. That's it.
  2. Do not go for a Soluna if You are considering the resale value. I think best option in the table for you is Toyota Sprinter 110. You can find a good one (YOM 95 - 97) around 1.5 Mil and this is coming from a guy who recently bought one... and believe me, you will not feel the same with an Alto even if its brand new.
  3. My all time favorite is Jim Carrey's "The Mask". Practically I'll watch anything if Jim Carrey is on it. Been waiting for the "Dumb and Dumber to" also. Apart from those, these are the movies I could watch over & Over again. Law Abiding Citizen the Green Mile The Terminal Django Unchained John Q De ja vu Perfume The Illusionist Pulp Fiction Thaare Sameen Par 3 Idiots Koyla Dostana Vinnaythandi Waruwaya and the list goes on and on...
  4. Same here bro... Finally found a good 110 after lot of searching... Really great car.. Exceptional on fuel ..
  5. Hi,, Since this is related to the topic, I'll post this here. I have plans to buy a vehicle for around 1 to 1.3 Mil myself. I do not plan to use it as a daily runner at all. It will be more like a weekend getaway vehicle. For sometime, I have set my mind to go for a Land Rover. And recently I got my eyes on a good one too. I mean a really good one from the looks. The guy has spent so much on exterior and it looks really good. Given the good care he's given to the body, you cannot possibly imagine that he's poor on the maintenance and other stuff. The add was published for a 1.3Mil but when I spoke to him, he told me his last price is 10.50. Since I am no expert on these things, I called my brother to get his insight on this and to go see the vehicle. After looking at the add, he completely twisted my arm. What he said was like this in Summery.: Everything looks good but its not our kind of ride. You cannot possibly maintain this kind of vehicle. It doesn't matter if its a K number or 32, everything costs the same. With every service, you will have to replace diesel filters and other stuff. Even if it is Diesel, Its really bad on fuel. And you cannot possibly expect the comfort of a car in this. "Katharagama wage duraka giyoth Loriyaka daala polawe gahuwa wage" to be exact. What he suggests is to go for a small car like Starlet or Cynos or may be a Ceres.. But still the decision is mine. So what do you guys think? What should I do? Is it really that bad to maintain a Landy? Will I have to spend my entire salary over it???
  6. What should I go for then?
  7. Thatz what I'm worried about!
  8. Hey guys, I found a good toyota Cynos 300-XXXX for 1.05M. Can be bought for 1M. Car looks OK. Is it the price of that or what? And if in case of emergency(Money) which is gonna happen, can I give it away quikly? So what do you guys think? I should go for it or I should consider something else. My budget is around 1M. If not this, what can I buy for that price. (Should be at least 300-XXXX with ability to sell quickly?
  9. Go for the Sportage... One hell of a ride... Top in Comfort man.........
  10. Thanks man... I'm still looking.. And that's really good to know. Cause most of my friends discourage me about this saying stuff. You know the stuff they say, Anyways, I'll let you all know about it after I buy the car.. I guess I'll gonna need loads of help from you guys.... Regards...
  11. I also think Honda is way better than Toyota
  12. Well thanks Big D... Appreciate it. But I'm hoping to buy a classic like a Capri or Cortina. Thanks again...
