The don okay and here my clutch plate is totaloy okay but the spring tht comes to paddle is broken so that though the clutch is released from the leg it stops lower after releasing to because of the broken spring is this spring also a problem or not ? imean for the low fuel consumption and is it okay driving 80~100 in the top gear and does it affect for low fuel efficiency ?

I hv mentiomed 100 there actually not 100 i meant approximately about 80~ 100

Okay guys thnx alot for ur valuable advices and another thing i want to know is will say as u ppl said if i change the 4 th gear at 50~60 speed to 5 th gear if i speed up to 100 will it be okay to give me very good fuel consumption.and as i knw 5 th gear is very fuel efficient and majority says that and if its wrong u guys please tell me how to make use of the 5 th gear for a very fuel efficient drI've nd let me know in 5 th wat the maximum that i should go to increase fuel consumption and after wat speed usually it starts drinking fuel ? @Ferrari. no not at all its since i am driving the vehicle in the early morning most probably there's no trafic also ne in roads in the early morning

@CJ5 usually i shift the gears normally 1 st gear at 20 2 nd at 30 3 rd at 40.bt if i want to pick up more i do change the 3 rd at a speed of 50~60 AND Ffrequent stops are like this running 7 ~8 km and stopping and the other thing is after i change the 4 th gear @ 70~80 speed i used to drive at high speed normally nearly to 100 and the other thing is i am used to push the accelerate paddle at its maximum as soon as i changed the gear from 3 rd to 4 th gear. And i need to know wether is there any effect paddling the accelerator at its maximumas soon as i changed the gear thanx mate

@ dpbatagoda especially when the a/c is on i feel the vehicle is not moving though i accelerate but when its switched off its pushing little bit faster and since tht the vehicle is not moving at its gear speed usually i try to shift the 3 rd gear at the sleed Of 50 or 60 thnx mate

@ Kush Airfilter was changed at the last service before three or four months and its not a VIC filter its a SAKURA and there's no clutch slips bt as u mentioned hv to check wether there's any leakage and i will let u knw thanks mate

Thanks for the response so far. Vehicle info Nissan Vanette Vx C22 Yom 1993 Engine LD 20 II (2.0) non turbo transmission manuel no black smoke when accelerating I serviced the whole disel pump and injector pump through AGM Diesel Care since adjustments hv done before 6 months no black smoke

Very bad fuel consumption on a nissan vanette c22 this implies it does about 8km/ltr in city without a/c and without traffic and it does abt 11 outstation Without A/C.I hv services my injector pump too and i dot know why is this ? i doubt is it because of the driving style or not. Anyway ur advices on this matter would be appreciated and usualluy vanettes does about 14 ~16 right as i knw apologize if its wrong Vanette people i need help of your pls br kind on this matter Thanks in advance

I found a Nissan Vanette VX c220 (super saloon) its wonder when we hear super saloon on his back but it was there.and this was the first time I saw a Vanette like this.So guys this vanette has power shutter/power mirror/duel a/c (line a/c)/duel sunroof ,full rotatable seat set+window curtains of same interior colour & the RPM meter too but NO 4WD. How come this happened the ownersays theres only few in S.L here.So i want this to be clarified by u guys who know about vanettes and expertise in nissans whether this vanette came wityh 4WD if not dd nissan produced vanettes like this with all the options without 4WD thanks in advance, Nissan CDJ

I filled it up to the point where the pump nuzzle goes "tuck" and stops every time (both the times)

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shitttt ........................... 2 days before i filled up to full tank and ran 57 kms up to today's eve and i again filled it up to fulll tank my gosh i had to fill it by 7.50 litres.So therefore my fuel consumption is when 57/7.50 = 7.6 km-per liter (without A/C) .so usng a NIssan vanette and bad fuel consumption is in wane ryt. so what am i suppose to do guys ???????????????????????? okay cyclist i look forward for it , my injector niples were almost okay they said tht there was only one with carbon oxiated and they said tt we servioced tht and replaced and due to this fuel efficiency scene i intended to change my airfilter too . thnxxx

Clutch plate and the opresure plates were changed recently ,the condition of the engine cylinders is about 50 percent ,tyre pressure 30 tyre size(165x13) load no more load its only me or me +another one ,nothing is being attached to the engine actually mu driving style - i am a speed freek so always goes on 4 th 5 th gears on normal road not in colombo thnxx don

I am using a nissan vanette (C220) LD 20 engine since 6 years from the begining it was doing 14 per litre without A/C but recently i noticed that this doesnt do fuel as previous.So i took my van to AG* diesel care where they have main branch at panchikaw***e and a brand at patt*ya handiya so when i took there they told to sevice the fuel pump and then they pressured injestors too and they replaced the housing of the diesel pump too .though they have done all this but now my van does only 7-8 with A/C.Actually this is like a prado therefore i took this again to them and complained then they advanced the pump to the maximum level.then i filled my diesel tank with 10 literes and again i droove the vehicle till the tank finishes.so the meter indicates only 78 km. it means again i has done only 7.8/litre ryt so again i had to go and complained then they said "mahattaya we hv done all this accurately up to now so nothing to be done anymore ".so i said though u al hv done again check it then they again removed the diesel pump and checked the whole thing by taking it to the pump room then they said nothing to be changed or replaced so the pump s okay and agin they fixed the pump and advanced it to the maximum level and gave the vehicle bck now again i had to face the same problem so last monday i took the vehicle form the garage and filled 15 litres and today 15 litres were finished so the meter reading was 122 so this implies 8.1km/litre. so guys please be kind on this matter and give me a solution for this ?
