I have a doubt regarding the millage as a 13 years old car done only 90k? Should be altered the meter. Guys, can you pls recommend a place to buy a good T-Belt for my Kia Picanto 2005 near Colombo? I also need to replace my Accelerator cable and Fan belt as well. Pls let me know a good place to do all at once. Should be within Colombo. Hope Kia Motors at Peliyagoda is expensive (both spare parts and service).

Hi Guys, I have a Kia Picanto EX 2005 car (Bought recently). It has done 92000km as of now. I asked the previous owner regarding the T-belt change but he said never changed. Is it a good time to change the T-Belt of my car? or need to wait until it reaches 100k?

Guys, I know that this post is little old but I have some doubts. I'm planning to restore my headlights this week. Please correct me if I'm wrong. 1st step: Sand the Headlight cover using wet 1000 grit, 1500 grit finally 2000 grit sanding papers. Hope I can use Brasso with Sanding paper??? 2nd step: Wash the headlight 3rd Step: Apply rubbing compound, please suggest me a good rubbing compound which can easily purchase? 4th step: Apply clear coat three times. Should I do this on the same day or need one day to get the headlight dry? Hope TOA Clear Coat spray is fine. Irosh

Hi Guys, Well, first I said seems good, but seems not very good. There is a slight different but not as expected. Guys please suggest me a good H4 Head Light bulb. The height of the bulb should be similar to H4 Halogen. And there is a very limited space in the housing (back) so difficult to fix a bulb with Heat sink. Help....

Guys, bought GE Megalight Ultra 120 yesterday. Each Rs 1250. Seems good.

Checked, its H4 55W Halogen bulb (made in Germany). I went to Auto Pal and Pet#o, they said, can't install H4 LED bulbs due to less space. But they said can modify the headlight cup accordingly. Then I found a guy n ######.lk (in Negambo) selling OSRAM H4 Night Breaker Unlimited bulbs. The cost is Rs. 5500 with 3 months warranty. Pls advise me on this as I have never replaced headlight bulbs before. Are there any cheap bulbs in the market with same performance? And, are there any shops near Colombo selling OSRAM H4 bulbs?

Hi all, I bought a Kia Picanto 2005 (manual) recently. Its a pretty good car, the interior is amazing as I bought it from the first owner. Anyway, I have some issues and need to check before it become worse. 1. The Clutch is little hard to push, and I feel a small vibration when pushing the clutch. 2. There is a noise when turning the car, hope it is from the Fan belt, but not sure. It gets worse when raining (trust me, it happened yesterday). 3. It has done nearly 90k. so do I need to replace the T-Belt? And, I'm looking for a good place near Moratuwa (as I'm living in) or Kirulapone (close to my office) to have a full check up and do the necessary repairs. I can't afford a lot as I spent some to purchase the car. Please help. Also let me know a good place for regular services near Moratuwa or Kirulapone. Regards, Irosh

Well, there are versions of AE 100. And most of them are like in 1993, 1995, etc. I prefer a vehicle in 2000 or later.

Thanks for the comment. My concern is Fuel consumption, but heard that it depends on the body weight. But Kelisa is not full option right? And seems less ground clearance compared to Alto. What about the space compared to Alto?

Thanks for the comment. I personally do not like Wira. My friend had one and I have used once. Wira is very similar to Mitsubishi CB models and C62A. Same engine and same structure. But the interior of the car is really bad. Planning to go for a Kelisa. Guys, anyone has a Kelisa 2005 for 1.3M pls inbox me. I can't go beyond this budget.

Mazda Butterfly 1997-1998 Kelisa 2005 And, is there a full option Toyota Corsa or Tercel (1997-1999 model)? What about Honday City 1997-1998? I saw a few cars within my budget (1.3m)

Not very sure, but did feel like the car does at least 11-12kmpl in City with A/C. I used a butterfly for a few weeks and compared with the one I had (Mitsubishi C62A -1991 carb model), Mazda saved me some bucks. And, it's a smooth car and no vibration. Very easy to drive. So that is why, even I can go for a 2005 Kelisa within my budget prefer to go for a 1997 Mazda Butterfly.
