  1. nice ride man,so this is your daily commute or what you rode in Japan? and can we know how many Horse(or d!ck)-powers does it have?
  2. going by the same logic, you should put a pic of your d!ck first to confim something
  3. 1.Guys stop embarassing yourself by writing bull-sh!t,even a 5 year old japanese kid would know that your sentences(probably from google translator) does not make any sense literally or grammatically. 2.buahahahahahaa, is this the kind you define as "better command"? looks like my langugage level of a 10year-old-japanese-kid has hurt the ego of some wanna-be Japan experts in AL. LMFAO (pu enuth hinaa yanawa)
  4. 1.I know it man,I have done 車検 by myself many times, normally there is no big difference.and didn't want to confuse the guy with too much detail. 2.純正アルミホイール=>純AW that explains it,I was wondering if Aqua came in AWD too.(and also why the expert does not have a Jap keybord ) for all other critics,I don't want to be a pora here, and i do not think all other pro(pora?)-members are halfwits. but I have an intention to save lankan car-buyers from being taken for a ride by the crooked car-sales mafia,so apparently my posts may hurt some of them or those working with them. if you do not find it interesting please don't bother looking.
  5. hahahha, just as expected here starts the bashing by the "experts". Expecting engineers know everything from building bridges to fixing software bugs(FYI,Engineering has more than 10 different fields) Of course I know its a 30-day trial, but there was no opton since updating the same image to photobucket failed many times. If you are not interested and use google for everything from finding a car to your wife, you should be happy doing that instead of criticising those who take the effort to post in a forum like AL. (But you just being here sh!tting all over the forum means you are interested.) But I still dont have the answer why the direct upload within the size limit did not work.but who cares,if it is lost ,30 days should be enough if someone is interested.
  6. This was for a request i received from some interested member. here we go https://imageshack.com/i/nd2ahjp thanks Don and Hoonigan
  7. wonder why it does not upload although within the limit, will try later.
  8. with details blacked out for privacy, hope this does not piss off the Admin .
  9. @Komisiripala haha idiot,I will go to my tamil friends and say i have a black a$$ as black as theirs, because it is so. then we will go have delicious Tosei n Wadai at a Saiwer shop in Colombo 3. But your beloved a$$ loving friend VVTi was accusing me as a suddange a$$ licker, because of working in Japan. So it is obvious he already thinks Japanese are "suddas". Now we are getting curious what VVTi did to your a$$,because also in your profile pic you have your a$$ wide-OPEN and tongue-cleaned in an inviting gesture
  10. first ,take a look under a "clean diesel" car bonnet, and you will see all sensors, actuators, control units are from Bosch Germany. In fact,"clean diesel " campaign was started by Bosch in japan around 2007 to promote diesel engine systems for passenger cars. aren't you saying the same thing I said in a different way?The only non-EU diesel engine system is offered by Mazda with the Skyactive series. All others such as Nissan Xtrail come from EU supplier Bosch.Toyota is even giving up diesel engine development in Europe where the market is big.To save costs, they borrow a diesel Engine developed by Bosch and BMW for a Mini, and placed it in the N47D16 engines. http://kaizenfactor.wordpress.com/2012/07/22/the-toyota-alliances-bmw-part-1-the-first-volley/ http://europe.autonews.com/article/20131202/ANE/131129856/toyota-verso-to-get-bmw-diesel
  11. since my login history seems to be the hottest topic here,I have no choice but to clarify. I was a member in 2012 but did not log in for a while so I forgot the password. my membership request with a new email few weeks ago was never approved. while fiddling around I was able to login by connecting the old ID to a Facebook account. I have nothing against Tamils, and have many friends and colleagues who are Tamil. But isn’t it ironic VVTi puts his a$$ in a Subaru made by puk@ sudu Japanese, while accusing me of licking white a$$? I didn’t know you get Alfa GT's at rentals, because they are quite rare.what they offer at rentals in japan usually are prius, axio, belta,Stepwagon etc. And to rent an Alfa on a daily basis should cost more money than to own one.
  12. I never wrote the P word ,you don't know how to distinguish between @ and "a"?you fall in to the same lo IQ class of VVT/Watchman As my well wishers already warned,I see some plot unfolding to ban me from posting in the forum. Alfa Romeo V6 GT
  13. doesn't matter if it is one shitball or two,the stink will always be there anyway. I bet a kurumbati motor would be better than your Panda. Go to TL and ask the manager who said the Recall applies when the Prius exceeds 300kmph!
  14. true, the share of new diesel cars sold in japan is almost going near zero(despite being around 55% in Germany). It is not worth to invest millions of dollars for developing diesel cars with parts from Japanese suppliers for japanese market. On the other hand Toyota develops Diesel cars for the EU market, with parts from EU suppliers. Then they just import these to Japan for the small sales volume. So you will be buying a Euro engine with a Toyota badge.
  15. Totally understood, will take care next time. but looking at this thread from beginning, I think more pollution is done by a person(posting as two people),with completely off-topic,non-technical relevant, dumb comments and pictures which only he thinks are funny.
  16. 1.Wow,You sound like such a patriot, you should hate cars made by puk@-suddas of Japan or Germany. what do you drive, a Micro Panda ? I think even that is made by puk@-sudu chinese http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geely_LC You should be better off driving a Mahindra lorry made in Tamil nadu by puk@-kalu tamils. 2.working and living in Japan does not mean we don't have to travel to different locations depending on the project.
  17. I dont think in our chinese-built bumpy highways it is possible to remove speed limits. As I said earlier,The only reason for the delay was Admin taking too long to activate my request. But i found no post about this large Prius recall in AL even after 2 months, with you experts already active. And since i work in Japan,I will only provide information about Japanese car makers from official Japanese press statements, Let someone in USA handle the US recalls.

  19. he's the dumbest fcuking 'engineer' I've seen in a while. 7 years in the industry and he doesn't have the knowledge let alone the common sense to realize that 300kmph is freakishly fast for any car let alone an econo box. Hey mudslinger Watchman a.k.a VVTi, you seem to be under the impression that Engineering is over, and the technologies we use can be no more improved. So Engineers have to know about everything to the end. FYI Engineers dont know everything about all things, and good engineers know that. But their curiosity and interest to learn will never fade until they die. but I am quite sure by looking at your comments that you have something against people who have more technical knowledge than you. in fact I was warned by some well-wishers,about such people in AL who want to dominate the forum and get Admin to ban members who seem knowleadgeble.. my comment "wonder If a Prius can go that fast(last time i was in Germany,I saw no Prius going head to head with Porsche 911s and Audi R8 s in the fast lane of the speed-unlimited German Autobahn)" was totally intended for sarcasm, that the TL manager has thought the Prius can go 300kmph,NOT me! your IQ must be really low,not to get this joke! Here is a real-life situation where 300kmh is reached with street cars. at 2min21s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY9bFhUz8fY probably you have not heard of the Autobahn highways in Europe where speed is unlimited. I dont want to waste my time or fall to your low-level by replying anymore to your dumbA$$ ,off-topic comments. Please do intelligent and serious AL readers a favor and go back to m@sturb@ting!
  20. The post was blended with my post about Toyota Prius recall by the Admin. The above link does not work anymore. So here is the original post. Recalls are made for 81,000 Japanese made HONDA FIT ,VEZEL Hybrid cars. http://www.honda.co....014/c140210.pdf In japan they are fixed for free acc. to Road safety law requirements.. manufacture date:2013/7~2014/2 This is the 3rd recall for this model, due to a failure in the the 7-speed transmission, gear wheels could become stuck. start-up from stop could become slow or impossible . The root cause is a software problem, which leads to gearbox damage. Repair method is to scan transmission logs,if errors are found change gearbox components and update the transmission computer software. http://www.honda.co....014/c140210.pdf Honda 本田技研工業(株)
  21. my cousin has a manager friend working at TL, he has told(in Private) not to bother since fault is applicable only when speed exceeds 300 Km/h! I wonder If a Prius can go that fast(last time i was in Germany,I saw no Prius going head to head with Porsche 911s and Audi R8 s in the fast lane of the speed-unlimited German Autobahn) agree with this guy on the sense that this happens when the load on the Hybrid System is high. Then the power dissipation on the electronic components will be high, and this leads to overheating (and fire risk if continued). 300km/h could be one use case, but from Engineering point of view, vehicle speed is not the only thing that matters for system load. You could also have similar high system load when going uphill, with a fully packed car at normal speeds. After all,the recall is made in Japan where speed limit on public roads is 40 and on highway 100km/h. I hope the official stance of TL is better for the customers.
  22. There was a gearbox related recall, please make sure you are not affected. http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/15976-recall-for-honda-hybrid-fitvezel/

  24. god knows if the people are aware of how poisonous these Ni-MH batteries are with all the heavy metals inside.Probably TL will have to start collecting them for recycling as done in Japan. A good Summary of next steps from iRage,Thanks! about time zone question,at the moment I am in the EU zone.
  25. "..and no where in the JAPANESE article does it say the car catches fire.." 熱応力が加わる is a nice way of saying Overheating. Do you have any idea how hot power-transistors can get? over 200 degrees! thats a serious thing ,especilly when our ambient temperature is higher than in Japan. overheating means risk of fire..Thats how they conclude during the FMEA(Failure mode and effects analysis) for design failures. " 2 month old recall so I guess in this instance ASAP would mean 2 months later ?)." I did not know I am obliged to post news immediately as it happens, last time i checked ,I was not getting my paycheck from Autolanka.I will try to be faster next time. The real reason was the Admin did not approve my membership request until recently. "#1. My question is; what was the purpose of mentioning that you were inside a high security building? How did it benefit this conversation or help prove your point?" To clarify I have no personal agenda against Toyota as some accused. Please read the full context," I have nothing against Toyota,I have been inside the hi-security Toyota head office In Toyota-city,Nagoya to discuss technical matters." #2. As you say even a cleaning lady can go into the building, so how are you more significant than the cleaning lady? thats also backward hanamiti thinking,in Japan a cleaning lady considered is as significant as an Engineer or a Manager. That does not mean they get access to all confidential documents, even they have to sign vows of confidentiality when they are hired. Thank you!I will not make any further comments about non-technical or personal questions regarding this Recall.
