    I'm considering buying one of these two vehicles. the Audi is about 3000 GBP higher in price. Does anyone here have experience with these vehicles. Also, do you know anyone who is importing these? Can i import a vehicle by myself, or is that too difficult?

    I've been doing a bit of research, and I think the Ford Fiesta 1.0L and VW Polo 1.0 L are also good options

    Sweet! that seems like a rally good option then. I also saw the 1.2L turbo Pulsar. maybe a good option as well

    thanks those were interesting observations. with regards to handling what is the car youre using right now. maybe its a distinction between models. i think u will get a few issues around the 50k km range and after 5 years. those type of things are expected.

    Hi guys, there are 2012/2013 sonatas in the market for approx 4.5 mn. they seem to have features similar to a camry or accord but are much cheaper. what are your opinions about this vehicle?

    yes but there is a max 3 million duty benefit.

    Well the government says it wants to encourage greener vehicles, but the practicality is that the new structure does not make any green vehicles which can be imported in to Sri Lanka affordable. I think there is some justification for people to be pissed off there. The new structure seems like a grand exercise in social engineering where the Govt is forcing people to not buy cars. Also with tax structures being so prohibitive, i feel that the Govt will lose out on revenue.

    golf ev is a 100kw engine. i wonder if there is a way to get them down.

    No they haven't reduced taxes for those vehicles. No tax reductions as far as I can tell.

    Well i guess the only vehicle you can buy now are electric vehicles all others are prohibitively expensive

    Just called them. They're out of stock atm, new shipment is arriving march and cars are priced at 11 million. Seems too high.

    Hi guys, I've read good things about the Ford Focus Hatchback in international Reviews. I wonder if it is good vehicle to buy here if you are looking for a small nimble car that looks nice.

    I want something comfortable and can navigate traffic well. It also has to look nice, not the generic bloated japanese look.

    Im looking for a 1 series BMW as secondary vehicle. What are your reflections on this vehicle. Basically I'm looking for small hatchback with character for a secondary vehicle. my budget is around 4-5 mn, but i'd rather spend 4 than 5. I've seen this car and it looks good. are there ppl with experience of this vehicle? and whats the general cost. I'll also consider alternatives if you guys can recommend some. thanks in advance

    I'm looking for a fast compact car suitable for city driving. I'm not too keen on anything older than 2005, but i'm flexible. I don't want Minis, because the design is not to my liking. I am also aware that BMW 3 series is good option, but I'm looking for alternatives to that. Also please don't recommend run of the mill japanese designs like axela or premio, they're too common and lacking in character. The budget is around 5 million but if a really good deal comes around i can spend 2 million more. I've seen a few e-golf cars around. I'm liking the design but i don't know anything about the car beyond that. and they seem to have vanished from the ad sites
