Hey Dude, The thing is Toyota Lanka is not offering Basic Avanza or there is no such thing, They are only offering the Full option Avanza. I wonder what happen to the Toyota Axio( The New Corolla)? How come Ramanayaka Auto is importing brand new cars. I also thought only dealers can bring down Brand new. Can some one confirm this?

Hi , Went to the Toyota lanka on last saturday.It's seem Toyota Yaris basic car is the cheapest option among the Toyota. It's around 16.75LKR.But when it's come to Full option it's abt 19.95LKR. Avanza full option is around 17.11LKR. They have proceed there 1st permit only on last saturday. May get more info near future. How abt other agents? DCL.

Nipuna, My mom also getting this permit so I gathered some info. Your uncle cannot transfer the Book to your name untill 5 years. hence Book it self will be keep by the Import/Export Ministry untill the 5 years time. Government will put special mark on the registration number plates so it can be Identify any where. Legislation clearly said that the Owner of the car cannot rent,sell, or give it to any one. If you got cought by doing that your uncle might have to pay the whole tax. But during the past years people have sell there permits and nothing happens to them.(Not that I knw) Customs may check the vehicle once a while.( So far it never happens) Cheers, DCL

Toyota Yaris sedan 1.3 = 19-21 K's Yaris Hutch Back 1.3 = 19-21K's Avanza 1.3 = 17-18k's Hilux 4wd 2.5 = 39-41k's Hilux 2.5 2wd =32-34k's. said that there is problem with Corolla 121 & it will also announced soon. Any one knw abt any thing from other agents.

I don't want the best, But we even cannot buy the next one to the best. Did any other agents offer there prices(Except toyota lanka)? I dont want to buy the best, but the average good 1!!! Did other agents came up with there offers? (Exept Toyota Lanka)

Oh god y this sh.... government issued this dam Permit???

Hey, If toyota Lanka Commission is 150K. The price of the Corolla 121 1.3 Should be = CIF 11500$(Rs.1288000)+Government Tax 25%(Rs.322000) + Toyota Lanka Commision (Rs.150000) = Rs.1760000 BUT they are saying it's abt 2Mil. Then how come they are onlt keeping 150K as there commison?

I talked to the one of Car sale guy, He's saying that We dont have to take what Toyota lanka Import.If we have some one who can shipped a brand new car from japan, we can Import it through Toyota Lanka.We just have to Register through toyota lanka. Is this true? If it is we can reduce the Toyota lanka Commission right? There will be only the CIF & Government commission. Any Idea when the Toyota Lanka is going to Finalise there offer?

Hey, when I spoke to them over the phone they said that I have to pay Government tax separately.But it's sort of a good new if what you say is true. Here, My mom is getting this dam permit, But my Budget is 1.7Mil Max. What can I import from this!! Really appreciate if some one help me on this!!

This only there Commission & CIF. We have to pay the government tax separately. This is making me really mad, there Keeping abt Rs.600000 as there commission. This is a Joke, There is no way that we can benefit from this. Only agents got a good cut from this.
