  1. Dude they dont need to wait until the budget or come up with an "Interim Budget" to change the tax ruling. for example if i'm not mistaken the import duty of Outlander PHEV increased last month by introducing 3 seperate agent values (3 different duty charges based on the same).
  2. I also have the same issue. I was also planning on the Vezel (I know all the down side attached to the vehicle but still I though for about 4.8m to 5.1m it is still not bad considering the fuel & SUV factor). However with the recent tax increase, it is not worth spending closer to 6m for such vehicle so I gave up the idea. Now I became a Toyota Harrier fan. 2007~2008 manufacturing Harrier is going around 4.5m to 5m. So I hope the incremental tax on Vezel will set off the fuel inefficiency (Compared to Vezel). Pls advice me. My concerns are, 1. Will there be many repairs? Presently I'm driving a 2008 Allion & I'm lucky enough to have no repairs to date. 2. When I sell in another 4~5 years will the market value of a 10+ years old vehicle will drastically come down? Toyota is generally has the reputation but!!! 3. Any idea about the fuel efficiency? Someone said it does around 8kmpl but need to check! 4. Hope I will have to pay luxury tax. Any idea how much the payment will be? 5. Don't know the market for Hybrid version & performance of the same. Any ideas?
