They are offering VW Passat, Golf and Polo. Among Subies they're offering Forester, Legacy and XV (Not sure about Outback though). I'll meet one guy from Senok tomorrow so will try to find out about VW Touareg.
I heard from Senok that permits are going around 1.5M as of now. Reason they told me is that demand is increased for permits since hybrid tax increase.
Also c*lonial is giving warranty and free services for 2 years or 200000km (whichever comes first). So it shouldn't cause you any financial trouble in the near future. It's true they don't bring down 2.0L variants.
Also in the long run ICE based car will be less hassle to maintain and repair IMHO.
Lancer is another option. However I feel Mazda's look and feel is superior to any other in the same class.
If you want a newer car you might as well look at Mazda 3. Col*nial now giving it for 5.1M for non-permit holders. You might as well look at second hand market where you can get it bit cheaper.
Vezel looked fantastic in the beginning. Now it has become an eyesore just like Aqua, Fit and Prius.
I think the new arrivals cost less (due to low yen rate) compare to the ex-stock these car sales people have got. Some agents also reduced prices on newly importing vehicles.
I have been monitoring the Honda Vezel RU3 Z grade prices for last few months. Four months back it was selling at ~6.3 M and now it has gone down to ~5.5 M. Today I saw a Z Grade ad for 5.3 M as well. Probably our car sales guys have brought down too many vezels and finding it difficult to make sales. Otherwise it could be that the import cost is reduced.
