Hi Guys, I know this is an old post but didnt want to open another new one. I recently had my radiator repaired...the tank had to be replaced. The guy who did it advised me not use coolant only but mix distilled water as well. My car is a 2002 Premio 1.8 Ltr Is there a proper coolant to water ratio i need to adhere to or just mix whatever potions i want?

Hi Guys, This is for ppl living near the Battaramulla area...On Saturday I found out that there was a crack on my radiator & the coolant was leaking...took it to a garage & he said might have to repair will take an entire day or sometimes might have to replace with a new radiator...Since i was already on a budget i inquired from my neighbour if he knows anyone in the area...recommended one guy but he was closed when i got their (Sat 5.30)...good thing was he works sundays so i took it the next day morning he quickly & efficiently took off the radiator & he said need to replace the coolant tank...long story short within 2 hrs he made me a new tank & now I'm running no issues...total cost 5K which i believe was very reasonable and he has done an excellent job. Hi Guys, Thanks for all the advice...issue now sorted...the switches had to be replaced...made a big mistake by going to Pala Auto Electricals...Needed to replace my head light bulb also...They quoted 5000/- for one switch and i had to replace 3...In the end 2000/- for light bulb plus replaced one switch all came to 10,000/-...My bro said since we're close to some spare part shops lets just check it out...Found a small spare shop he gave me 2 switches plus the casings for all 4 which were damaged all for 8,000/- and he said a head light bulb price is only 650/-...he completed the job in 15 mins also...felt like kicking myself...anyways lesson learnt i guess.

Hi Guys, I just checked with T****A Lanka & they said it'll cost me close to 150K to replace all 4 switches. I'm still convinced that the switches can be repaired so therefore if you guys can recommend to me a really good car electrical pro who will be familiar with my issue that would be highly appreciated. Hi Guys, I recently purchased a Toyota Premio 2002 model and I'm having some issues with the power shutters. The drivers side works fine but the other 3 don't work properly...they don't work from the main control but sometimes they work individually but the thing is once the mirror goes down it doesn't come back up. I took it to a garage & they said all switches including the main controller needs to be replaced. Can the switches be repaired? or if i need to replace where can i get for my model? Any help highly appreciated. adilisme

Hi Guys, What do you guys think of the Axela Hybrid? Are there any owners here? Would like to know the general feedback on fuel consumption / maintenance...etc I was initially going for a Subaru XV hybrid but for the same price there is an Axela hybrid. I like both vehicles but the Subaru might not have a strong resale value compared to Mazda and also the fuel consumption for a hybrid is very poor as well. I would like your thoughts on this. Hi Guys, I'm planning of buying my first vehicle and the options i'm looking at are either the Vezel or the XV. Not a big fan of the Vezel. But i like the rugged look of the XV. I would like to have some general feedback from some XV hybrid owners here especially with regard to fuel consumption / maintenance..etc. Regards, Adil
