I am having a Suzuki A-star. I had to replace the AC evaporator due to oil leakage & clogged by dust.so the technicians removed the dash board & some parts inside the bonnet. during the process of removing some hoses coolant came out . once after the replacement is done they refilled the coolant. but it is found that coolant is reducing although there is no leakage found under the car.what can be the cause for it.is it a problem with lid of the coolant chamber?

i think most of the fuel stations along the Galle road are not affected by flood.

I think "Quiet" is right. this forum is to discuss about auto mobile matters. People can't ignore their day to day work although there is a flood in some where else. it's true we should help them, there is no argument on that. But mean while we have to look after our work too. Any way there is point on this tropic too. there are large no of vehicle affected by this flood in addition to people. what are the remedies can be taken for them to recover it.in addition what happened to the second hand vehicle market.

I also having Suzuki A star which doesn't have cabin filter originally. Ac repairing guys advised me to fit a one other vice it may clog the evaporator.is it true?

it's manual. this tested outside Colombo with AC on. i heard it is 15 kmpl on Colombo suburbs & 18 kmpl on rural ares

I bought a second hand Astar 6 months back( milage was around 90K) . Although the seller & other people said it is a good fuel efficient vehicle but it doesn't.it does 10 kmpl.so did efi cleaning & tune up. then it reached 12kmpl.are there any further reason for this low fuel consumption?

yes,i do agree with sampath,most valuable thing is human lives. But in SL some people try to exploit the situation by stealing the valuables of the victims. further it is very difficult to cope with 3 wheel drivers,bus drivers etc if u met with an accident.by all means it is advisable to have a full insurance cover before u satart ur jurney.
