  1. Probably something wrong with the Gear box revolution sensors- there are two of them and these can be replaced easily at the agents. If you're lucky it will be just the reverse sensor that needs to be changed. Also a change in gear box oil will not hurt. IMHO
  2. reasons/logic for this?
  3. lame thread- road rage is a bad thing and I'd prefer to be caught behind a new car which smokes less rather than a belching old diesel thats cheated & passed the emissions test.
  4. Peri- for the sake of the forum's dignity, please lock topics like this that have nothing useful in them.
  5. Thanks for the pics BH. Congrats to the owner! Darin out of curiosity- whats the going rate of a CTR like the one in the background?
  6. Sadly neither can you understand or type in plain english. I dont give a rats as* about how you invest you're money, stop flattering you're self. Style is in the eye of the beholder but not the technicals as you seem to think. Clear? You can go on making an idiot of you're self by disputing the technicals which you clearly have no idea about. And yes based on you're comments, I do know more than you And so does the handful of members on this thread. Deal with it and ask nicely and you will get help.
  7. +1 Gosh what nonsense this Guy is talking- Amusing is one thing but this is plain stupid. 'Its my style' in fine for the exterior but trying to justify these cosmetic 'modifications' on the basis of incorrect mechanical fact is all wrong. Someone give him the AL's 2nd best Rice-mahat-taya award' If you dont know something at least try and ask for advice from someone who does!
  8. If you need to get you're sensors and basic running parameters checked- go to the Agents and ask them run their diagnostic tool on you're car if its EFI. (along with a tune up) that costs around 3k. Don't see any purpose in looking up the dyno option for you're requirement.
  9. Top Speed: 177ish Machine: 2002 Primera GT Mods: None Road: last stretch of the highway before Hiikkaduwa What prevented you from going further: Wife
  10. Reminds me of those front mount air filter units- costume car accessories

    New Fuel Filter

Unlikely there is anything wrong with the new filter- so changing back to old one would be a waste of time. Assuming the filter has been mounted right- do a check on the fuel pump. or maybe try doing a diagnostic check with the Agents (may isolate the problem)
  12. Ha ha you're memory & information is as weak you're word you gay-ass wipe. You don't know the facts or the runs my car did and I've been around even before the days you were sh*t in you're Daddy's balls- so you don't know nothing! :D Damn to think you got a kid now:rolleyes: You're a true Ricer (and pro-troll) in every sense of the word- "A Ricer is a stupid young idiot who thinks he is a car expert after watching The Fast and the Furious" - thats what you are all the way! You get beaten and now try to divert attention away from you're self by dragging me into this. You are a 3rd grade SOB that would even make a discussion about a accidental death political. You can make all the assumptions about my old car- but they are worth as much a you're reputation- I'm sure you're buddies on that old forum that closed down would believe you though. They would have all thought it was so cool when you decided to covert that City of yours into manual.(without even knowing how drive manual) Moron you could have sold the car and probably brought a factory made manual city cheaper and used to 175k to feed you're hungry child. Or you could have brought a life-time supply of smokes for Zakie and he would have built you a car for free. Oh how can we forget the way you kissed his as*! did you have a picture of him at home? and light a fire for him every morning? Oh by the way happy birthday!!
  13. The 911 for the Purist- pure tail flapping driving fun with a manual tranny- less gadgets, the noise, the tuner friendly options, reliability, the sound, vintage cult car looks
  14. Its once shy twice bitten- dump the City and switch to a slower gas guzzler!- Exactly the opposite logic
  15. you may need to adjust it or replace it.
  16. but at Lemons that's all taken care of
  17. And maybe we can meet At Kolu's restaurant- whats it called- Lemons or something? The foods excellent
  18. Yup Ripper- and we can have a drag (queen) competition from them for entertainment. Now theres a new nick name for everyone's convenience! Can always have an casual meet up even though Madz will only be there in Spirit Sometimes towards the end of April I guess- since the weekends seem tight for the next few weeks with the WC, Foxhill, Avurudu etc.
  19. lol this thread rocks!!! Really fellows Gearhead, MD, VVti, Peri & the rest We really should do a meet-up again sometime:D
  20. Its not a status or anything that's earned- Definitely a Pro though
  21. Happy birthday machan!
  22. Happy birthday!
  23. Trying to figure out what Sanoj99's question was? So many fakes around these days after all.
  24. "Trolls generally are not successful and rely on the attention received on forums to support their delicate self images" -urbandictionary
  25. Just a hunch- but those funny sounds come when the engine is not getting enough fuel- either you need relook at you're style of driving and give more gas/clutch or check the fuel the system for the usual faults.
