Machan MRM s Mini is one of the late Mk7 models in SL-1993 I guess........BTW this is OT....Madmax and Preveen told that you know about PCMCI (hope i spelled it correct)cards for laptops,coz Im planning to use a CDMA internet connection as im out of Colombo most of the time! please help me with this.... Exept main figures like Madz,"sir" Dunc,Mivec-turbo.....I still want to be in hiding because of many reasons. Motoring is just my passion and no where near my living! Im an aviator by proffession.Minis are my speciality.Im helping mini lovers with the limited knowlage i have on Minis free of charge and sometimes attending repairs and giving away spares too..Few so called Mini experts In SL recently started an anti Miniace campaign too coz I always tell Mini users whats good and bad! Hi friend! The minor change of your tyre profile could make a plus or minus 5km/h difference or the cop was showing you a previous reading of violator -which cops commonly do! I know the guy who supplies the most commonly used radar hand held speed detector type in SL the "Stalker Basic" and the units are calliberated and tested regularly.I dont think the radar gun is wrong!

Hi "sir" Duncan! Sorry I missed the post and its my friend Hola told me about about your carb prob! It seems that its a kinda syncro problem encountered! try following and get back with the results! Get the engine to working temp and disconect choke cable and unscrew the throttle adjusting srew till the throttle is fully closed and screw it up again one complete turn. Hold the jet up against the nut and adjust the nut until engine runs smoothly. rest is very important Raise the piston of left carb aprx .8mm. If the engine speed increases,mixure is too rich.If decreases,tooweak.If momentarly increases very slightly the mixture is correct. Try the same with right carb. Tell if failed and problem exists.Then we will have to try the linkage adjusting and harmonizing! Good luck! Miniace ----------------- [email protected] -----------------
