If you try hard you can find a FB 15 or AE 110 good cars. But keep your eyes open

I think you are correct, I had few 110, there is no doubt it is a good car, but 2.2mil for a 12 year old car is crazy. As you said, if you extend a little can go for a vios. It is slightly new car, with VVTi engine. The best what we can give for a 110 is 1.7. not more than that.

1:) What are the main differences between early 1997 AE 110 model and late 1997 AE 110model ? (Only the body is differant ) 2:) Which model does better on fuel (only from above two) ? ( Both are more or less same) 3:) What about second hand market of above two models of AE 110 (of cause both are corolla) ? ( Both cars have a reasonable second hand value) 4:) Can anyone explain about the different grades of each vehicle seperatelly with their options ? ( LX, XE saloon, SE saloon G grade, L grade & Revera 5:) Anyone have idea about price range of each vehicle (specially for AE 110 crystal light model with G-xxxx numbers and H-xxxx numbes) ? I think the corollas are over priced at present the non crystel light starts from 1.5 million to 1.65 million. Crystel light model starts from 1.9 million to 2.2 million, H number is on the higher side)

Corolla XE Saloon limited & Sprinter XE vintage limited has retractable mirrors. The one I had was a XE saloon limited, & it was with retractable mirrors

Are we sure when we buy a liter of petrol, one liter is pumped in the tank? We always get cheated by the petrol sheds. Change the shed for one instance & check once more. I am speaking of my experiance.

I am considering the above two cars ( 2003 or 2004 models) my concerns are the below Maintance Petrol consumption Resele value most of my friends asked me to go for vios, because of easy maintanance. Hi Guys, I have a small doubt. suppose you buy a car with duplicate R/C. When you transfer it to your name, the new R/C also states duplicate or original?

My D/L is taken by a cop, for having tinted glasses. Front side glasses are slightly tinted. But inside can be seen clearly from outside. Is this allowed, or the tinted stickers to be removed.

Are they going to start with K plates or any letter before G

Thanks guys, My budget is not more than 2.3 mil, I hope only ES 1 fits to my budget. Please advice how is the petrol consumption of this model.

Dear Friends, I have been using Nissans & Toyatas for the last 15 years, now I like to go for a Honda civic. I would like to go for a ES1, ES5 or ES8. 2003/ 2004 models. It must be an automatic car. Please advice what is the major differance in these cars, which one has a high re sale value & good in pertrol consumption. I believe all these are with Vtec engines. Also please advice what is the market price of these cars. I hope the maintanance will be the same for all these cars.

Hi Guys, I had a strange experiance yesterday.My car is a corolla 110, I pumped full tank about 4 days back,set the odometer to zero & started running. I ran 260 km,s & the fuel guage was indicating in between 1/2 & 1/4. I went to a shed in Ratmalana to top up the tank. It took 33 liters to to top up the tank. Generaly my car does 9 to 10 km per litre in city. Also there was petrol little lesser to 1/2 tank. The total capacity of the petrol tank is 40 Ltrs. I told the pump attendent this cannot be correct, but left with no choice but to pay. What do you think guys, Edward

The answer for his question is already given, by few of us saying it is a good car,also saying the price is too high,& not worth for that price. Therefore suggesting a better choice for the money. It is upto him to decide on it.

Instead of paying 2.3 milion for 110, why not go for Honda ES 5, I belive you can get it for about 2.6 mil. It is 2003 / 2004 models, the number plate will be K series. There is another option why not a vios, 2004 model, I believe you can get for about 2.5 mil, & K series plate. I belive these 2 cars are also very good in fuel efficiency & if you use carefuly the maintanance will not be be burden to you.

About a year back these cars were between 17 to 19. Depends on the condition & Option. I use the same car, it is a G grade car, which I bought 2 years back for 17.50. Suddenly these cars have gone beyound 2 million. I cannot suggest the price in the forum. But anyway since it is 11 years old atleast keep 50k in your hand, to get the in good condition. You may need to change the timing belt, the set will cost nearly 15k. other small things will cost another 35k easily.

Toyota AE 110 is a very good car. It has a very good resale value, low maintanance cost. good milage. very dependable car for it,s age. Revera is the highest grade in AE 110. The asking price is very very high.
