Ya i think so.but the given diameter of the drum is 181mm but after facing the drum the drum is 180.5 mm. as i mentioned above,m after greind the pads looks ok but another hicups, when it cool it is perfect but when it warm break not good. i thisk the drum has special layer for break shoues. i heard that on the internet too. think repace with the secound hand and see the difference Sira

I did the small expeiment and it was suceed. i grind the middle surface of the break shoue with sand paper.normally when you see the 2 break pads 9 after installed new shoues) you will the sheeted area gets worn out.just grint that area, now the shoues will be sheet whole face and break condition became good. thanks all of you

Hi guys, I'm using FB 13 car and recently found the ECC - Electronic Carburetor Controller unit Diagram. if anybody want to have the diagram i can e-mail. just make sure any body who drives FB 13 car you must check the sensors and switches belongs to the ECC unit then your Fuel consumption and pulling power will be increased. Some technicians are not familiar with electronics and they normally don’t check those switches. see bellow FB13 having following switches and sensors 1. Exhaust gas sensor 2. Clutch Switch 3. Speed sensor 4. accelerator switch 5. Idle solenoid 6. mixture solenoid 7. fuel pump solenoid 8. nutal switch( domestic model – press position is OFF) 9. engine heat sensor 10. Power string oil pressure switch Just check those switches and if it nod good replace and see. you will see the difference

Hi Don, Thanks for your quick reply. all tires are same brand and same model.goodyear india. i did face my drum too. changed the wheel cylinders with new break washers. also i changed the break shoues - FBK.

I have nissan FB 13 YOM 1992. it has front disk break and rear drum break system with 4 line master pump. when i applies break it will be applying front disk very much and rear looks not applying. i tested with this on good carpet road how i did was, i reached 50km and applied break. its locked 2 disk (front).i only can see skid marks only front breaks. i replaced the master pump,booster,and applied the front caliber repair kit.also replaced the rear break cylenders too.nothing to replace now.the problem is still same is anybody can tell me what is the problem with my car ,the technician who replaced above items, is working in A*W and i think he is good BAS but he cannot rectify the issue. :):):) sira

hi, There should be a problem with your car. The EFI cars minimum 10 KM per litre. You can simply you can check your fuel mixture status looking the silencer. simply see the pipe if its very dark and looks filled with carbon, the petrol mixture is very rich. You need to clean or repair your fuel system. Must be replaces the air cleaner, plugs(buy orignal pulgs) and fuel filter, (if all was not replaced earlier). Please contact qualified technician to do this. Don’t go for normal garage and mess this up. Your car having few sensors, that the repair person must protect them. If you going for agent you better get the estimate before repair. the silencer shoud not be gets black carbon. should be water comes while you are driving too( not only in the morning)

Hi guys, I have Nissan FB13(doctor sunny) which was made in 1992.recently i had a problem with the the ECU. if i reach 70kmph and applies brack and tried to change the gear in to 2,3 ( speed is 20kmph) the car gets knock and some times its stops un exceptically. i saw the ECU unit having the burned IC.so finally i replaced with same number of ECU unit.now the proble is solved. But i need to find out is there a way to check the ECU unit. thanks Sira
