ah..Talking about girls. really not many nice chicks were there. The gathering for bikers, totally different people, sort of long hair/ tattooed / leather that kind of thing. Some members from "Hells Angels" and "chopper" clubs were there (well known biker gangs). Not seen any other asians apart from my friend. It was a good laugh and nice experience. Only seen one cop car and two officers.. wonder why... (do not think cops can keep it up with those crazy bikes ) This is Triump Rocket III, 2300 CC name say it all. due to the image size i can only upload 2 images at a time..

Hi Guys, A week ago went down to a biker gathering at Cassington (Oxforshire, UK). This was a charity event organized by the village school. There were some amazing machines from good old days to modern Harley’s, Triumph’s, some honda's with NOS and chromies. Had a chance to ride my mate’s Fireblade which is lighting quick!! Thought I’d share some pics with you guys, for all the bike lovers!. not have much time as at work now but will post some more later...

I have started building an Electric car about a year ago. Had a L reg (year 1994) micra from a friend as a donor car (he meant to scrap the car for metal anyway). Some tips it might help - structure modification for batteries. - if it is hybrid – think about drive link -motors are bl**dy expensive, I am not sure about the price in SL, but the ones I have looked are costly. Price of a battery?, if you are having a normal car battery that might be cheaper but have a look at the limitations, and the add on weight. If it is pure electric then that is fine as there is no engine!! After struggled in a big time.. GENTLEMEN I GAVE UP , Yes I scrap the car, sold the engine and gearbox for spares.. I think it is better if you have a garage so most of the work can be done by mechanics and you can provide the design.

BMW’s Lightweight Cloth Car From different web sites.. was looking for more details but not much available. have a look guys German giants BMW unveiled the GINA Light Visionary Model, a highly anticipated concept set to transform the boundaries of traditional car design. ‘GINA’, an acronym for “Geometry and Functions In ‘N’ Adaptations”, has a seamless outer skin made entirely from a textile fabric (polyurethane-coated Lycra) pulled taut around a moveable frame of metal and carbon fiber wires. This lightweight design requires far less energy to produce than traditional BMW models and the overall car weight is significantly reduced, making it far more fuel-efficient. When a shape-shifting concept car made of neoprene turns up, you can be near-certain that flame-surfaced BMW design fuhrer Chris Bangle won't be far away. At least, we think it's neoprene. Some sort of stretchable textile fabric, anyhow. And it's not exactly a concept in the conventional sense, but... hang on, let's start at the beginning. This is the BMW Gina. Ostensibly a two-seater roadster, it's actually more of a philosophical statement that has informed BMW's current production line-up and will influence future vehicles. Or something. Built on the short-lived Z8 Roadster platform, the Gina consists of a flexible 'skin' stretched over a metal wire structure enforced with carbon fibre. It allows the driver to change the shape of the car 'on the fly' - the rear spoiler can be raised, for example, while the rocker panels can effectively be bodykitted out. It's a similar story on the inside, where the steering wheel and instrumentation sit within the centre console and slide into position when the driver pushes the start button. Bangle says that, in a decade's time or so, such flexibility could reach production vehicles, allowing buyers to create their car around their own requirement. Nice idea, but you really wouldn't want it to get keyed, would you? However, there's no suggestion that the Gina will lead directly to a production car in the short term. Instead, Bangle says that its principles have influenced the infamous 'flame-surfaced' styling of BMW's current crop... and will continue to do so. Expect to see unusual-looking Beemers for a few years to come, then. Watch the BMW Gina video on YouTube cool huh

Next Nsx To Challenege Ferrari's And Lambo's
TomaHAWK replied to Overdrive's topic in HONDA SRI LANKA
Good to see NSX back, not really a WOW car, maybe it is due to the details not outlined yet.. Rear from Porsche (with a deploying spoiler) ? yea looks a bit like that.. wonder what will be the price tag??? 550BHP with AWD will be a good one looks like GTR have to watch the step! -
Thanks for the info.. Wonder what BHP , and Torque this will fit in to. Prius sedan is good to drive around town but crap when it need more power / torque. Toyota needs to develop much better engine for this 4x4 as it needed, but how will they keep the green concept?

Total Recall: 50 Most Memorable Movie Cars
TomaHAWK replied to Pericles's topic in General Automotive
There is a car museum at Keswick (Lake district), visited there about 2 years back. They have Knight ridder KITT, Batmobiles (old open top and one before the last film),DB5 from James bond, A-TEAM van, Magnum's Ferrari , Flinstone's car, two cars from Need for speed and much more. Ba**d not allowed us to take any pictures (I know what i do next time take camcorder switch on and hide in a bag!!) but visit was good. Anybody travel to Lake district pay a visit.. ( and take my advice record it please.. as it will be a good clip for our petrolheads) -
Porsche Cayenne was not that cool, I do not see a big difference. Maybe they will come up with better value for money with diesel or more Greener version (Future is GREEN.. ), I know that Landrover have offset carbon emmisions of their new vehicles upto 40,000 miles. Jaguar is on the same track... (Porsche have placed a court case against congestion charge increament for bigger engine cars recently!! - not so green supportive!)

Machan, Nice pictures of your wheels.. I believe the water spray is more effective with the hot conditions (like in SL), cooler the air it will become more dense. keep up the good work......
-
Machan, This new Ferrari is based on one of their old designs - 250California spider I have seen some pics of the old car I think it is around 1950's - 60's era, not so sure.. and here it is. I do not think new generation will go with this car but surely some classic lovers will do.....

TomaHAWK replied to Mani's topic in General Automotive
Again have a look at this video, M3 Vs AMG Vs ISF Vs VXR. http://www.autocar.co.uk/VideosWallpapers/...232030&CT=V comments welcome, test 1 - Beema is the quickest, - agrees test 2 - what a bullsh*t, who wanna have that much space, well can live without a tiny bag.. test 3 - What the f**k, should check what is more stable, not what is more unstable, AMG can not handle the road / track where m3 performe much better, AMG - good for drift.... hey but do u really wanna drift with it... overall winner beema..... should be. -

Top Gear & Motor Trend Comparison Of The New Is-f, Bmw M3, & C63 Amg
TomaHAWK replied to Mani's topic in General Automotive
AMG - nice gentlemen's car, more comfi. Not like normal C class (2001-06), good for day to day drive but less fun RS4 - more practical, not driven the new one, can not comment M3 - Beast, top for handling but less BHP compare to AMG.. yea there was E36 sedan but not E46. Now there is new M3 sedan out! (mid 2008) pic attached....... I have seen in top gear these cars head to head.. I will go with beema (as always) check this link http://www.autospies.com/news/It-s-officia...w-photos-21397/ -
