Are you sure this one is within the allowed age limit?

Does O/D off really give engine braking? I thought that's only on L and 2 whie O/D off simply stops shifting to the last gear. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Something that his trustworthy friend and supplier didn't/couldn't do. (Translating) Although being in the business.

... and guess what. You just helped VW overtake Toyota in shipments!

Bring your R grade crap and drive around. My concern is that it's gonna end up in another unsuspecting pair of hands down the line.

Forget the government and taxes. Simply put, you won't be bale to sell it at the same price. And it does not mean a loss. It's depreciation for your use. Hybrids, depreciate faster. All that for non accident cars too.

http://njmanura.hubpages.com/hub/Review-of-Toyota-Aqua-Prius-C They are different trim levels as in any car.

few bucks less than the 'then' market value. Since it's a hybrid it's gonna depreciate much faster. How much are you planning to drive per month? Don't tell me it's less than 1000km Most vehicles can be sold quickly below the market value. The extent you're going for this reason is too much. Take the advise (if you wish)

Nothing to beat its battery life. Decent display and resolution although not up to other flagships but that's what helps the battery too. Just about the right size.

That's the trim level and not the Auction grade AFAIK Google got me this http://www.providecars.co.jp/japanese-car-auctions/auction_grading.html

Oil Filter - 860 Air Filter - 2750 Labor - 5250 Oil - 4000 Total - 12860 How are you going to get it done for 10k? Besides, seems like labor charge of Colonial (3057) seems cheaper, doesn't it? Won't Colonial do the labor with the parts that you supplied? As Don said, there are cheaper alternatives with 'reputed' name to do these simple stuff who will also maintain records if you are really on a tight budget. Don't go on tight budgets for everything (running repairs etc) and expect an advantage when selling the car.

This is the shed in question here though.
-
I pumped at this shed today after a few years. Asked to pump for 2,000/- While pumping, the hose started to 'vibrate' hard occasionally after passing 1,000/- as if wasn't pumping smoothly but the meter was running as it should be. Not sure if I was paranoid or if it was tampered with. When asked the attenden replied cheekily that that was 'normal'

Importing Dslr Camera Lenses (any Idea What The Tax/duty Etc Costs?)
NPP replied to Saturn's topic in The Lounge
check this seller dzone2 on ebay. I bought my DSLR few years ago for a good price delivered through DHL (free) within 3 days. Last known - they do this free delivery for purchases above $200. -
$15 for the product and $50 for shipping!

for 400-500km, I suggest not to buy one unless you need one or have issues getting a budget taxi from home, just for the sake of buying one. Although the taxi fare for 500km would be more than the interest portion for first few months, you have to consider, running and other expenses even on a new car. So, yes you can definitely afford one, but think if you really need one. You anyway have the bike for the moment.

I was wondering if there's actually any car with reserve? I knew only 3wheelers (as they did not have a fuel gauge), whose drivers always try to run the maximum from the reserve as well before refuelling.

Cosular Corps ... I assume it's owned by an embassy ?
-
just go to a local shop and buy. It would save a lot of hassle and you don't have to wait for that to arrive for you to do the tune up. Not that it would make a difference anyway...

nobody protests for tax decreases I think the same limit should be imposed on the cars for which tax was reduced as well! so that some of the lost hybrid tax can be covered up.

This is a different route, which is pretty good and I discovered it thanks to a friend when there was road work going on at the Hatton stretch. Back to topic, if you are interested, there is good place in Trinco for both food and accomodation called Hotel Blue Waves at the end of Court Road. It's a small Hotel but if anyone is looking for a place to eat around there, it is a good place. There's another Dutch(?) restaurant nearby (near the harbor entrance) but a bit pricey.

I'm not sure a loan will be possible if the car is older than 10 years. If not it is the better option as you won't end up paying the VAT on top of the installment for a loan. Lease is better for unregistered cars if the seller is giving a VAT invoice. Correct me if I'm wrong.

you mean like this?

oh! you should have tried 50. you will be surprised
