  1. Hi all, Thanks for reading my post. I've heard that there are grease nipples in Pajeros. I'm specifically interested in 92~98 MK2 model. Has anyone got an idea on how to identify where these grease nipples are? and how often you should grease them? Thanks in advance.
  2. Parak, you made a believer out of me man. I've thought about it and decided to leave my car behind and use the bus. I was happily rejoicing my decision for a while until I realized that you are in a developed country where the public transport system is very good (if not excellent). So why did you buy that hulk of a SUV, Grand Vitara?

Could you pls elaborate on the it was just a pain to use? any specific reason for this? I've been doing some background research and you are spot on. The LCD screen is the most expensive. To make the real use of the AutoPC you will need to have a touch screen monitor. I've come across with many TV screens with VGA input for rather cheap price but does not have touchscreen feature. Of cause you can fix a touch panel in front of the screen as a conversion, but am not sure about the clarity of TV screens. Touchscreen monitors are quite expensive.
  4. :D LOL There were many stories on a lady who gets onto the taxis from Kanattha junction saying she is going to pick up her child from school... Probably the stories made up by the Trisho drivers to keep away the competition

I see that you got a point there Dev. But the tempatetion for gadgets... simply too much. On the other hand if you have an on board computer the possibilities are endless: * Audio support to virtually a limitless set of codecs: Divx, MP3, WMV, etc. * Add on GPS (when the usage is legalized) * DVD, DVDR, DVD RW support * Mobile internet * Bluetooth pairing with phone * Hooked up with proper sensors for car security * Forward/Aft parking support by sensor/camera * Hooked up with OBD for real time monitoring * ETC. you think about it, it could be done
  10. for the senior members!
  11. Heard that the government is in bit of trouble in the monetary department. Even government worker salary payments is difficult it seems. Hope the war ends soon so, that burden is off and the recession to ease off. I guess the only way out for SL is to get the cleared areas in north and east to contribute to the GDP. Especially farming and stuff.
  12. Shoot and ask questions later
  13. That would be a truly priceless, Kodak moment!!!
  14. Go to a place where they rip cars apart. Would cost a genuine relay less than 250/= based on the Amperage.
  15. Exactly! Wonder whether the government would allow the Indian made Pajero to be imported on lesser tax. If imported that crazy two tone paint-job will have to be re-done.
  16. All riced up!
  17. ROFL Hell Razor, how did you managed to see that, didn't notice until you point it out guess I was suffering from temporary blindness

Car Computers or Carputers. I've seen many on the net. There are branded ones to home made ones. Has anyone got either verity in your car?
  23. Well GTAM, from your previous posts we know you are a European car fan, but why do you despise the Presea. I've used one for two years and it was an OK ride for daily drive. The only weakness I saw was the low ground clearance.
