guys need a favor from all you back at home in SL ... my aunt is coming down to SL around June and she will be staying in SL for around 3 months do you guys no any solid place for renting a car ( A FB15 or a Accent ) how much will it cost for a monthly basis ... i kw there are lot of places where they rent cars in srilanka but the prices are off the roof when it comes to foreigners and they use to say some lie and tend to keep the deposit money for no apparent reason telling that there are dents in the rented car even though you never made them in the first place and we are at the mercy of these crooks. because every one at home is out of the country when she arrives and for the first two weeks in SL it will be close to imposible for her to find a decent place to rent a car by herself so it would be a great help if some one can advice me of a place to rent a car for a reasonable price for a duration of 3 months if the agency is close to colombo or ja-ela it would be help for us cos most of the time they will be traveling to those two points if any one feels it will be advertising for the rent a car company by mentioning the name and the rates please do text me personally to my personal account in auto lanka .... thankz in advance

what is a ID ban .. i have no idea on what your talking about .... if your talking about do i play online ..no machang i don't have ADSL at home i just hack to a wireless network next door to surf if its really important -
YAp XXX you need a lot of fire power to pull of such a deal ....and you are spot on the subject what I told was that you have to make a deal with the CEB to buy a unit at a fix price for a reasonable amount of time .... What I wanted to explain was that you cannot transmit by your self locally cos the law prohibits this... I never knew Mr casino owned any power plants ... i kiwi some one who kws him very well even his elder brother before he was gunned down by that stupid cops ... the bugger has a lots of money and heard recently that he lost a lot as well recently my uncle acquired a lot of shares in a local Gas and Oil company but to get such a load of shares you have to divide it through alot of ppl you kw and you have to deposit the money in the bank for the amount of shares you bid when all this is over at a given day they look at the amount of shares ppl want and if its over the limit they divide in in percentages and give every one some thing.... so for an example if you pay 1000 $ for 1000 shares same times you will end up with 500 shares after that according to the market prices you sell or buy accordingly ... i bought few thousand shares at a telecom giants IPO release and sold it after 1 week and got a solid profit for the money i invested .... My friend told once share prices were 10times more that when he bought in the morning.. But over here there's a limit of increase and as well as decrease.... so the market never fly's over the roof or never falls to the ground.... that's what i kw about the stock market and most of the time if i need to trade i go with some elder who kws better than me... ya XXX i was talking about forex machang i forgot the name and there are alot of other currency trading software's in the market too .... KAWZ i don't think personally buying cars would be a good way to invest in this hard times .... machang .... and how best of luck on your RX8 Dream hope you will get your RX8 before I buy my G.cherokee SRT8 .... and thankz alot mean green on the update ......

jadey .... U seems to know what you are talking about my man .... yap for around 30 to 50 mil you can build your own hydro power plant(there are smaller projects where you can do it for around 5mil but there's no benefit of doing so ) in some rural areas which makes a moderate amount of electricity according to the money you spend and connect it to the national grid to distribute .... Or I guess you can even sell it to the doods in the area through the electricity board but according to the srilankan law you cannot do any thing by your self in the electricity sector cos it's not privatized..heard some dood is the sole investor for the power plant in jaffna which is been build even when we speak right now and is gona run on diesel I suppose The problem of this is you never get your payments on time.... some one we know closely is into this business of making electricity in kothmale region and making electricity poles hambanthota for the electricity board but he just does both business as charity Bcos the payments are so late if you think of getting your money to pay some loans or feed our family you will be long dead before you ever receive the first cheque but it is a good & solid investment for all the ppl who have some extra buck in there pocket and are not dependent on there investments in terms of loosing your money is almost 0% because the need for energy keeps on growing by the day there's the potentional of devaluing in the timber business as you pointed out in the coming decade but when you see the global timber market where Indonesia and Malaysia dominating the game the newer rules on timber passed by the local governments over there is hitting hard on the business market as well as the constant headache from the NGO's where the output s slowing down pretty fast in a yearly basis Srilanka Philippines can become the new major players in the new timer world in the future bcos they started this forest growing programmes to fulfill the worlds timber need before anyone else started and have the potentional of going to the top in the business if carefully handled and marketed But the above planting project is also good for the people who are not dependent on the investment and it's a safe house to dump the money for a good 15 to 20 years with out any headaches KAWZ you are the man machang you remind me of lots of my friends who drive around in hot rides and who use the best phones ever imaginable but when it comes to calls and petrol he has to go begging for cash from his friends and parents .... ask most of the guys who drive in those and does all that a simple common question are you doing all this with your money and the answer is simple they will say no and wil top it up by telling you hey man i don't even work ... most of there parents are rich who had a hard time being rich and having a mentality to give every thing to there kids they never had but its not love i'll tell you instead of making strong people for the community they are making chocolate babies when someday they have to take care of the family fortune they will FU__ up big-time and loose everything cos of there ignorance.... i've seem alot of good exsamples but some parents never give there kids that kind of Luxury you talk about and they have to work there A$$ out to get something from there grownups, you have to go to work everyday at someone else's office and learn how to stand up by yourself Nothing personal machang but macho when it comes to money and earning i have a very different view on it which has passed over to me by my elders its always better to tight you belt today for a better tomorrow because someday the money will stop coming easily and you will suffer thinking on the wrong decisions you made with your life

jadey ... machang i have few frnds of my dad who did this tree planting thing sometime back and even my dad followed this .... we never invested the money with touchwood we directly went to the ministry of agriculture and bought our selfs mahogany plants from a local place ... and with the help of one of my dads frnds who is good in all this tree planting stuff we planted it in kegalle u can plant around 200 plants in 100 perches and it will take around 17 years to be good enough for timber if ur interested in such a thing i tell u the best thing to grow is mahogany .... the stock market is like blackjack for true ... when u win u win alot and its the same way around .... the best thing is to buy at a IPO ... specially energy companies are my personal FAV ... it's a risky game to play but when u get inot the game its pritty nice ... there was another system online currency exchange thing going on for all the doods who are really stucked infront of a PC and the returns were good but as the stock market you always have to keep in touch with the updates or else you will endup loosing your money ... really interested on this topic and how its improving .... and waiting for Mr.Mean greens riply on the issue .... so guys any other smart investment IDEAS ......

guess its always better to buy real-estate with ur funds ... buy some solid land in places where you will think there is growth in land value and let it be there for a while thats what alot of relatives and friend of mine are doing and one of our friends dad earned well over 60-100 mil srilankan money when the land value went up not so long ago ... and I personally don't think its a good thing to do to put money in the bank and wait cos these days when prices are a bit realistic it always better to buy and buy and pile it up if your very sure about your incomes in the coming future that’s the best thing which cross my mind and thankz mean green we will be waiting to see the details cos every one who's abroad is interested in investing solidly on some thing for the future short term or long term cos u will never know how things are going to shape out when you wake up in the morning ....

machang a hawk 250 is a very cool bike .. if u can find one in running condition for around 50-75k that would be a good deal ... personally i don't kw abt the local motor bike market and when i came down i got fed up by seeing the indian crap running around the roads like bugs and really happy to see good old bike lovers who have taste ....

this is some thing goooood .... after watching at all the engines hearing the sounds of screaming tyres this is some thing i don't mind to look until its over ... and would love to be a judge in one ...

machang what ever why do you start to sound like a dood i kw who says his blood is even blue ... this matter is not about parties or abt some super natural politikka .... who slef claims himself a king ...who died some time back ... and this kalu sudda word its too old mate and beofre you start talking u should think we can't live by our slef in this world we need eachother and if ur living in this island mentality of yours surely .... we have to thnk your one of those guys who runs behind some one telling all hail ...... alot of ppl are very simple minded ... when some one try to show u the moon they look at the finger and start to make false claims i don't kw when this country will grow up .. by the way if u don't kw there are lot of folks who have lot of connections with different politikkos more than you ever think and when they see some thing wrong with them or there system they stand up and say its wrong ...cos they have a back bone
-
i know machang XXX .. hope alot of doods will think like that but theres alot of ppl in the country and abroad who's eyes are closed by this curtain of lies but when they start to feel the heat then the horse is gone and theres no use of closing the stable ....

i think its around 1hr and 45 min .. mini not sure it was around 4-5 years back .. but it was a bloddy fast run as the guys told me some we throwin up inside one car after seeing the ripper eye to eye when they were over taking some buses and trucks ......
-
hey by the way some guys i know in SL did that run in Eg8s to mawanaella tooo by the way .... i'm guessing did u owned a black eg8 ... and running with asanka at pelawatha ..... cos my guys did the run from kandy to pelawatha i think with in a bit over 1hr

sure macho ...the wild cat is a beast .. i saw it on top gear and after some diggin i have full respect for it .... both the SRT8 and the wild cat are in two totally different leauges. if i'm thinkin of dakar the wild cat will be the cradle i would love to hop into without thinkin twice ... but if your a middle class man who has day to day office drives and family outings with some 4x4 action with your mates at the weekend .... the SRT8 will surely fit in nicely
-
been there done that .... tried the infiniti bro ..and i really never felt anything special about it. its one big softy but styling vice its cool but it's not my type it looks a bit more girlish a hot chick in it would be a sight to see or its better off with that model type guy who always try to match his pants color with his top and shades or with neat pressed fullsuit & polished shoes thats not my type bro .... i'm the gungle boy who forgot to shave with shorts and slippers who wears black shades even when its rainin who you see driving around with open shutters and loud music witha furt barrel that will wake up even the dead ... and the SRT8 is totally a bad boys ride .... a devil on weels ....

guess it would be over here in oman from muscat to sur a good 400km road in the coast in a porsche cayenne gamballa which is owned by my boss we hit around 240-260 range and you don't feel a thing in it just seeing the landscape pass you by in a instant ... another would be in a lumina SS in the same road few years back with my cuz ... and in the skyline which almost got us killed when we were studing abroad did some insane driving at highspeeds in the highways in toyota corolla's hitting well over the 180kmh mark the fastest i went in SL is in a Jag S from malabe to padukka ..when the road was new to hand over wedding card damn that was fast those days few runs at pali, merine drive, down south at new nuge road will surely top the list as well in some beefed up civic's and converted Sti's
-
and about the MILF subject who cares how she looks when she gives you all what you want ...... money credit cards her husbands car keys when he's not at home ...ETC ..the list will keep on going don't think it as entertainment guys think it as if your doing a job or a social service to the needed ... and you will be all right and by the way who needs enemies when you have friends like you guys …surely a person who has deep pockets who has a younger wife will think twice before he invites you blokes to his house for a cup of tea … and surely they will never let you doods bring home there innocent girl from school in case of an emergency…!!!

fuzzo no idea about if the SRT8 hits 0-60 under 5sec but one of my friends own one and the srt8 is a jeep i'm pretty focused on buying someday in the future its one hell of a ride pretty fast with a crazy sound that makes ur body hair stand up a bit less space if you try to compare it with another SUV but surely it’s a heart stopper. i do agree with mean green on the appearance issue on the normal and the SRT8 version the normal one is too dull compared to the SRT but the new G.cherokee stands out from the crowd when its parked in a car park filled with all the other SUV's pretty unique and eye-catching styling you can say The 2009 version is even better it seems..but over here where i stay dealers are very keen to sell of there 2008 lot and start all new with the 2009 or atl east cover up there losses so there's alot of good offers in the market where a normal one i guess a 4.2ltr G.cherokke will cost you around 3mil in Srilankan money no idea about the SRT version guess the American automotive industry turmoil makes the poor old chaps like us who have dreams on buying some serious head turners a chance to finally own there dreams

hey it seems this is drifting away from the topic to another totally different subject any how it seems all this are inter-connected and i would love to give my humble opinion about this matter ... i'm not a analyst or a specialist on either economics nor politic is but I feel even though those chinthanaya blokes finally manage to finish the war and bring some peace to the country if there's no clear agenda about the economy and the development of srilanka ..When the next general elections come the party who has a clear vision on the economy and development of the country will win with a land slide and all those people who are now shouting for a war victory have to shove all that in there Ass and walk away if my memory is correct on world history like Winston Churchill who lost at parliament after becoming the second world war hero who saved the country but never had a clear view upon the economy and rebuilding of the nation., hope the same thing won't happen to the current ruling body and history wouldn't be repeating by it self' in our small island I hope some how they will see the mistakes and find some proper solutions to recover a dieing economy or else we will all end up like Zimbabwe and for all of us who are abroad living/working who have plans on settling down in our home land would be a distant dream in the horizon

luckyly XXX he is not doing any business in SL and his business is stable abraod but he has some investments handed down from his parnets in the hill country so thats why he needs the 4X4 for the trips up and down ... by the way the bugger is living in kotte so guess he dosen't need to change his postal code cos thats one of the best places in SL to live in . .. so guess the best thing is to go for is the new montero it seems cos you get a newer car and hell yah this is a good time to buy land ........ prices are really ok he is a down to earth dood and hates to keep alot of vehicles at his place ... so guess the idea will never cross his mind ... but will see may he will end up buying two cos he is kind of that unpredictable type ... thankz alot guys for all the help on the subject ...

i don't mind being the middle man in a back seat of a prado in a bumpy road when theres two hot girls around me ... xxx machang saloon cars are out of the list he had some pretty bad experences with me the last time he went on a trip in a FB15 & top of that it won't last longer to tell the tale cos theres alot of bad road ahead for him when he comes down.the bugger is dfoing ok with his business and he has no problem is spending some cash on a good ride for the family but when a LR3 or something similer is around close to 30mil its better to drive a small SUV and inverst the rest in some business and get the profit out of it rather than sitting on top of it and wasteing more on it ... and by the way we were thinking of the petrol versions machang cos we personally think petrol is always the way GO .... parak machang we were thinking of a family SUV where you can hold around 5 people easyly with a decent boot space for a normal camping event equipment list so i guess what you mentioned is not in his list but thankz for talking out loud we were thinking to get help from a person who has a non transferble peper permit to do the dirty work for us so both of us can get a profit out of a loop hole in the system and buy something highend any comments abt it ... by the way any ideas on the pricing on LC100 and the LC120 ?
