don,change is good,if properly implemented with a touch of common practical knowledge,but we live in sri lanka(don't get me wrong,I love this country),where cops don't know anything about cars,do you think they will understand difference between various kinds of seat belts?do you think they will understand the difference between a kitted civic and a low riding ferrari? ahhh if it was only easy as you say...few people understand the complications of adding a accessory to a car which is behind it's time,and still keep the car original as possible,which is the whole point of owning a classic.I'm sure most classic car owners will wince at the possibility of a scratch on the body let alone drilling a hole on their baby,bear in mind that not all cars have side verticle pillars... I'm all for seat belt safety,they do save lives,but your point of saying "hey let's force this on the classics as well" as if they were a major threat to road safety without proper knowledge or expierience is not right... Thankfully the government hasn't implemented this rule to cars that come without seat belts so I can rest easy

umm have you seen classics with seatbelts attched,in any country?would you like me to add air bags as well...? i'd like to see you go and ask the owners of the claasics that were on display on the show yesterday to attach seatbelts to thier cars i know this is for our own safety,but this is like making mini skirt wearing mandatory and asking the pope to wear one as well... btw I'm not gonna attach any modification to mine just to make some dumb cop happy,I'd rather let them rot in the garage...

I Just got back from the show,frankly dissapointed..but it's still the best show of the year the only good thing was the classics,but we've all seen those before haven't we,heck I've even driven most of them,I noticed some big name collectors haven't sent their best to the show,maybe the rain was worrying them...yeah going inside was a waste of time,the only good thing for me was the new CRV and poeple getting to chat with DD. but the place was packed even at 3pm..took ages to find a place to park

yeah I heard that story too,but according to my sources it was in a dismal condition...but all the same the price was very low for even a rundown A...oh well,have to list it as a one that got away

it does remind one of their last LM racer which won the event in 91,sounds the same as well...awesome but I think the actual race car will have more conservative looks... btw guys does mazda have special connection with laguna seca? I noticed that most of their cars are being tested there.

the only hatch I like from mazda is the astina,great little car with a big boy attitude,and this is coming from a person who doesn't like hatchbacks at all apart from that the only mazda's I like are the one's with rotary engines but even I have to admit the new 3 is a stunner...

yeah peri I would buy the new fairlady even if it only had a 500cc engine,just look at the curves on that one....I hope to go for one in the next year,either that or a non-turbo supra.....keeping my fingers crossed... in the mean time i'd settle for a black 300z,preferebly with black alloys and a red interior...but haven't found one yet oh and a leaky targa top is a must...

yep i agree,the new 500 is the best example for a good follow up to it's legendary predecessor. for me the worst was the mustang which came before the latest one...such a let down
