On a different note I think our bus service is more efficient than that of developed countries. I was riding the bus in New York City sometime back and my patience ran out. Every stop they kneel the bus down, wait till everyone puts coin by coin into the ticketing machine, make the bus kneel up, close the door.... at least a good 10 minutes at every stop!! F**** unbelievable. in SL people get in while the bus is moving...:-)

Something I've noticed is that a lot of Sri Lankan migrants are overly patriotic. But once they land in Sri Lanka they will not last a week and looking at going back as soon as possible. If you're so fond of you motherland why not you come and live here and serve the people of this country? Try living the rough life here everyday rather than doing it on your vacation?

SL Cop radars are K/Ka bands. Also I've read on most radar detector review sites those so called 'radar jammers' are just a marketing gimmick and they actually don't work.

Is that a question to ask? definitively D90! It's a league above the 450d! If you were debating between the D90 and the 50D the choice would've been tough.

Strange thing is there is no mention about the pilot of the air craft that crashed at IRD. Was he captured alive? Or bailed out and escaped?

The military spokesman said that it was a bomb that fell onto the inland revenue dept. One plane was shot down in Katunayake and the other one apparently escaped. With the army having claimed to captured all landing strips of the LTTE where did they launch these planes from? Aircraft carriers?

If you're talking about the radar detector, it's only banned totally in two US states, in other states only commercial vehicles usage is prohibited but can be used on personal vehicles.

I thought Micro got down only one Petrol Actyon for demo purposes. Is that the one you're talking about? Or are there any privately owned ones? The value on the SSangyong range by Micro dependents on the simple fact they were diesel powered. If it's a petrol you're better off buying a Japanese car for that money.

I'de like to know that too. I'm already spoiled by being a bimmer owner twice to like a Korean built SUV. So thinking of jumping on the BMW bandwagon once again and don't mind going for a petrol this time in the form of a E39 perhaps...

Actually it is worth more than gold to some people. The car you're talking about I believe is a SiR II hatch, quite rare and sought after car for racing.
