i dunno abt the brand new swift, but the 2002 model recon auto 13ltr does only about 9 in colombo running , since we have one in office , few others told the same .

thanks don for your detailed reply, i also feels this is some thing in common for mini's as over drive said most of these cars imported from UK are not tropicalised i guess thanks over drive & i hear some 406's imported to SL also have this problem

i agree with you but do you know how Jap cars lasts longer than UK cars when comes to tinkering?? for an example my 1993 model mini imported from UK is already developing a little rust , imported to lanka in 1996 , but a jap car imported to lanka round the same time with YOM will last for a more longer time .

it looks similar to a nissan RZ-1 , not sure through even the mistubishi c11 in late 80's came with some thing similar , but cant remember the lay out

machan you should go in one of those old range rovers to what they can do off the road. for a 1970's vehicle(most of these are 1976 - 1979 ) it has diff lock , coil spring suspension, all 4 disc brakes. comfortability is really impressive for a 25 - 28 yr old 4X4

i managed to do 100km's in the mini yesterdy in bamba wella stretch , & almost hit a bus from behind . thanks to the new servo car stopped

machan mini spare part prices are crazy go to Suzuki lanka Kurana i just bought a booster with the pump for 7k they have stock ashtrey also can be found there ,
