Download this files http://rapidshare.com/files/327368443/Garm...wsCE_50020w.rar Extract the contents. Save the following code in a file as Garmin.mscr Copy this file to Garmin\RunGMXT folder. Download this file http://rapidshare.com/files/61579171/SriLanka.img Rename it to gmapsupp.img Copy this file to Garmin folder. Get the latest poi file from ironbutcher_x. Create a folder as POI inside Garmin folder and copy poi file to that folder. Copy the Garmin folder to root of your SD Card. Go to Windows CE in our device and click Start -> Run dialog box and browse to SDMMC/Garmin/RunGMXT and select Garmin.exe and click ok and run it. (or create a shortcut to desktop. this is the best way to run this application. If you go to Windows Explorer and open this app it'll run very slowly) Then follow the instructions found in Keygen folder. Vehicle icon can be changed from settings. Don't know whether it's illegal or not but it was fixed to windscreen when I went to Jaffna from colombo last week but nobody questioned about it.

It's based on Navitel software and runs Windows CE OS. http://www.navitel.md/ http://www.navitel.asia/

Hi ironbutcher_x Sorry for not updating you. All my attempts to get my vehicle DVD/TV/Nav system to use GPS failed since it's locked and I could not go to Windows CE directly. But I bought this chinese GPS from eBay for $49.99 and managed to install Garmin Mobile XT for Windows CE. This GPS device comes with iGo software and there's no map for Sri Lanka. Installed Garmin Mobile XT, your sri lankan map and POI files and after some modifications now it works great. I'll update with some pics later. thanks for your help.

Thanks for all the details.

Thanks Big_D.

Can someone please explain what happens to the insurance policy if I sell the vehicle? Do I need to transfer it to the buyer of my vehicle? Or Can I get a refund for the balance duration from the Insurance company? I need to know about it asap. Thanks

It was advertised that way. Check last sunday's HitAd.

Hello ironbutcher_x! My vehicle has a In-Dash Car DVD Player with GPS/SD Card/Blutooth/USB/Touchscreen/TV functions. Can I copy a GPS map for sri lanka/GPS navigation software to a SD card and use it? or can I use a GPS navigation software CD. I have no clue regarding this. It's exactly this and it runs Windows CE.

Sunday, 18 July 2010 16:38 A special traffic plan will be implemented with effect from 6.00am tomorrow from Kohuwala to Havelock road, Police media spokesman Prishantha Jayakody told Daily Mirror online. The special traffic arrangement will be implemented as a measure to control the massive traffic which prevails in the mornings and also in the evenings. Under the new plan Stafford Avenue will be closed for vehicles heading from Pamankada to Highlevel road. Vehicles can enter Highlevel road by turning left from the Pamankada road block through the old Havelock road and Maya Mawatha. Vehicles will not be allowed to use the old Havelock road to travel from W.A De Silva road to Kohuwala. Vehicles will have to use Maya Mawatha and enter Highlevel road and through Stafford Avenue up to Pamankada and then towards Kohuwala. Vehicles heading from Havelock road can use the Maya roundabout and through the W.A De Silva Mawatha towards Pamankada, SP Jayakody said http://www.dailymirror.lk/index.php/news/5...ffic-plan-.html

yes I do it within seconds after removing 12V battery terminals.
-
It's not a must. It's just a precaution or a good habit to prevent a short-circuit.
-
It is to prevent short circuiting the batt.

I've noticed this in my hyundai accent 2000. ECU memory is erased after few seconds if you disconnect the battery. I scanned the ecu using my OBDII reader and found out that all the values related to I/M status monitors(Misfire, Fuel system, comp com, Catalyst, EVAP system, O2 Sensor, EGR) had been erased. Fuel efficiency goes down until ECU 'learns' new values. Several driving cycles are required for these values to get restored. One solution I tried and worked is to connect a 9V battery to battery connectors until you reconnect the vehicle battery. Then ECU keeps it's memory.
