New Prices Of Vehicles Under Reduced Tax

Hello friends,

I think it will be useful for us to have an idea about actual prices (under revised tax) of different vehicles.

Lot of people quoting different "Old Prices" and "New Prices"..

But we should have an idea of actually acceptable prices, cos as users, i think we should not be exploited by mudalalis..

I am also one with minimal knowledge about the prices.. All of us can benefit from knowing the real values..

As we have been going on and on, specially second hand market, the whole "new value" concept is not gonna work yet. Except maybe the newer models, post 2005 or so. I'm sure there might be ppl able to give out old prices, but new is fluid. Only the brand new ones at the agents will have a definite new value old value.

i got prices of mercs and the 2.0 CGI E class with an old price tag of 36 mil is going at 15 mil now! that is the best reduction in price i have heard of. they already got 20 orders on the book.

of the cars of more immediate interest to me i got unregistered 2007 mazda pre-face lift model for 2.9 million best price. 1.3L honda fit was quoted 2.2 mil by an importer. i should be able to fetch a dearer price in final negotiations for the honda fit and i will keep this thread informed on the progress with the fit.

I don't get it. Why is it too much for a 2010 Mazda3 (assume 1.6l) if the 1.6l 2010 Civic is the same price? They are competing in the same segment, right?

the same spec civic is 6.1 mill, most ppl i guess would go for the brand new civic rather than the mazda 3, but the exterior styling is great in the mazda, maybe the mazda will draw a younger buyer, but how many young ppl can afford the 5.9 mill price tag

a tad higher - base is said to be more like 10 Mil
