Hi,
There is also a Toshiba with a 1.6 Celeron and same specs as the other two for just less than 80k.
Plus local agents offer an interest free installment payment option through their credit cards.
My Guess is that the Post - '98 1800s (with the QG series engines) don't pull too well.
I own a '96 1.8 SSS - with the SR18 (Auto) engine and it pulls really well. Plus its got disk brakes all round and stiffer suspension than the Le-Grand version. Handles as well as a P11 primera. I get around 8.5 - 9 km/l around town but can go down to 7 if you push it very hard. (Which you are tempted to do very often on account of the good response to the throttle)
There is also a high end version of the SSS with a SR20DET (Same engine as the Pulsar GTiR but milder Turbo). Looks identical to a normal one but the give away is the Red SSS badges.
Hi,
Had a similar noise on my Nissan a while back which no one could diagnose.
Took it to an A/C workshop and they found that the noise was coming from a worn out bearing in the A/C Belt Adjuster Pulley. It was a fairly simple thing to fix.
Couldn't agree with you more there. The digital odometers are even easier to fix undetected........I've seen a fleet of AT210 Carinas which were bought unreg from a well known car sale some time back all with around 20k on the clock. The guys ran the cars happily for 3 years till they hit 100k and all the Odos went back to zero. - the first digit had simply been blanked out.
Hi Bharath
Your FB15 has electronic ignition (no distributor) so the ignition timing is controlled by the ECU. Would advise you to get it checked by the Agents. I've been running two nissans for the past 4 years and have had no such problems after they're tuned by a*w with their Consult II handheld unit.
