No machan, what I have marked with an arrow in the below picture, is the door/boot/bonnet open light in GP

Actually you don't need to scan to identify the basic errors in a Grande Punto. It's got a multi-information display in the meter cluster, which tells you what's wrong with it. Of course a scanner will help to identify slightly more complex stuff (like "misfire in cylinder 3", for example)

Tesla Motors - Cars That Will Change The World

Forget it. This is like talking sense to a hardcore religious extremist. This guy is an extremist in a different way... an industrial extremist! Like any extremist, this guy is a danger to the society. -
Please let me know if you got any message on the LCD when this warning light came on. I have seen this light a few times but I can't recall exactly what it is. At first, I thought it was the door open warning light, but its not. Worst case, it could be the dualogic gearbox acting up. It's a very common problem with these cars. It could be anything from a dirty sensor to a messed up gearbox. The good news is it's not a very costly repair. If you get a message like "Gear not available" along with this warning light, stop the car, switch off ignition, switch on ignition without starting the car, shift the gear to manual mode and shift it back to auto mode. Now start the car. The light should go off and the car should start working now. It's the first sign of the gearbox getting fried, but like I said, don't panic. The repair isn't very expensive (around 10000-15000 if I remember correctly)

Your Civic was probably a JDM while the 141 is not. This may not work with most of the JDM cars (I tried this with a Nissan March and a Cefiro with zero luck). As reported by Vishkid, it does work with Axelas.

Toyota Aqua Vs Honda Fit Hybrid
Crosswind replied to lahiru_carlover's question in Car Buying Information
It's just 3 or 4 months since Aquas entered the Sri Lankan market. It's too early to talk about resale value.- 14 replies

ROTFL!

Is it factory fitted tint (ie tinted glass) or locally pasted tint sticker? If it is a factory fitted tint, you have a chance of keeping it. If its a tinted sticker, you have no option but to remove. Incidentally, this is a selectively applied law. I have driven many vehicles with tinted glass in front, but no cop bothered to stop me.

Tesla Motors - Cars That Will Change The World

I admire you cali... somehow you manage to find a legitimate sounding reason.. even if it takes 3 days to do it.. and I really enjoyed seeing "new car" instead of 'Tesla Model S" so what's the car you currently own? a tricycle? -
Hybrid And Zero-Emissions Vehicles Photos And News

"Colombo having 1 monitoring site does not mean the data from the Fort site is somehow invalid" "If what you wrote were true, then Colombo and Sri Lanka would NEVER be included in various environmental/air quality rankings with other countries"... if this is not a comparison, then what is??? Do they teach ENGLISH to you in USA or some other language? -

oi village idiot, which part of my statement says that the data is invalid???? why do you imagine words which were not there in the post? you cannot compare each country's particle levels using this data. this is similar to comparing average and instantaneous fuel consumptions. the keyword here is 'compare'... the WHO probably never expected some monkey like you to convert this data to a ranking system! -
Tesla Motors - Cars That Will Change The World

good morning retard. so i'm gonna repeat the question (which you have been so unsuccessfully trying to avoid). If Tesla Model S is so affordable as you and your puppet master claims, why don't you buy one?? -
you also have Hyundai SantaFe of same age, as an option for that budget. the choice between a santafe and a rexton is truly a no-brainer

Yes that's true. Engines of Ford Lasers are actually Mazda engines. Spares are 100% compatible with Mazda spares. Engines installed in the European made Ford Mondeo are also based on a Mazda engine. Some spares (not all) are interchangeable between Ford Mondeo, Mazda Tribute and Mazda 626.
-
Wikipedia says there's something called Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS) in Type-S Preludes. This ATTS thingy look like Hondaspeak for a differential.
-
Which model of Ford are you talking about? What's your budget? Manufacture year? Most common model is Ford Laser, which is essentially same as Mazda 323/Familia. If you are looking for ABS and Airbag, you may have to find a BJ5P model. Many of them came without ABS and Airbags. These should cost you about 1.8 Million Most spares are compatible with Mazda Familia. There are also Ford Mondeos, which were made in Europe. Very comfortable cars because they were built on the same platform as X-type Jaguar (This was the time when Ford owned Jaguar). All of them came with ABS and at least 4 airbags. Some came with leather seats, sunroof, teak panels and fancy options. Spare parts are rare in Sri Lanka. If you are buying a Mondeo, you will need to get down parts thru eBay.co.uk. In UK, Mondeos are as common as houseflies so you can get a lot of cheap spares off ebay. Should cost you about 1.7 Million If you can stretch the budget close to 3.5 Million, there are few Ford Fiesta (2011 Brand New imported) cars in the market. They are still under company warranty. On the higher range of the market, above 5 Million range, there is Ford Focus. These were imported brand new by the agent in 2011 and they were also made in Europe. I own one and I am very happy about it. Overall, Fords are good cars to own, if you are not a person who is bothered about what the neighbor has to say about resale value! Spares are not hard to come by, if you know where to look. For the Focus, I have already got down a few bits like switches, door handles, timing/drive belt tensioners, extra remote key, ignition coils etc from ebay UK auctions. I don't need them now but it's good to keep them in stock. Because Focus parts are so common in the UK, I won most of them for £1 (one pound!) each. The only expensive thing was the brand new remote key which cost me £20! Including postage, nothing cost me over £25! Beat that, Mr. Toyota!

As usual, califorh*kan imagines things that were never said. did I say anything about the success (or the failure) of elon musk's master plan? i really couldn't care less about it. for me, its as important as a drunken two-dollar whore's success of giving you herpes. WHAT I TALKED was about the stupid marketing pitch of elon musk which goes "secret master plan" "just between you and me"... the kind of marketing ploy which is targeted at teenage groupies and barbie boys like u -

This is a compilation of data collected by individual organizations in their own countries. Each organization has their own way of collecting data. For example. CEA has collected the amount of particles in the air at just ONE monitoring station at the city centre (which is probably the monitoring station in front of Fort Railway Station), whereas the pollution control department of Bangkok has taken the average figure of 14 monitoring stations. This means the temporal and spatial coverages of each of these data items are not same. Until and unless there's uniformity in the measuring system, one cannot compare this data. This is like Californikan checking the instantaneous consumption of his Prius and claiming it does 25 to the litre, whereas you and I would go by the average measurement. If the village idiot californican actually took a few minutes to download the excel sheet and read the report before posting nonsensical claims, he would have noticed it. In the meantime I would strongly recommend not taking any 'facts' posted by californikan, seriously! -
Lets Talk The Truth About Kia Cars (Please Share Your Real Experience)
Crosswind replied to Iroshw's question in Car Buying Information
I didn't see any bad comments about Kias except for that stupid comment by Sylvi (who thinks that Chinese and Indian vehicles are of very good quality!) What a waste of energy for the rest of us! -
There are plenty of Kias, Hyundais and Protons for your budget! I am not very convinced about the 'less maintenance cost' with a Panda

Here we go http://www.etradeasia.com/products_detail/147971/147971/GONOW_double_cabin_pickup_ISUZU_model_.html Like I said, one has to be very very careful when posting pictures of Chinese vehicles.

This is what the Gonow pickup looks like I hate to quarrel here but the guy who said gonow has successfully identified it. One has to be very careful when posting pics of chinese vehicles. Most of them are ripoffs of each other!
