Nope. But I did the same to the forester when I upgraded to STI brakes and went Dot4. That time we used the machine. No issues.

I had the Alfa brakes bled and replaced with Dot4 at PitStop. Manually, of course. But since the car is on a hoist its a easy job despite not having the equipment.

Also a good quality car wash liquid is important as anything harsher will peel away the layer. If your car is waxed well, the chances are a good hosing off will wash away the the more common dirt and wiping with a quality chamois will give excellent results. But it all depends on your car's paint condition though. No amount of waxing will hide a bad paint job.

The 126 is a beautiful vehicle. I wont mind owning one myself, but it wont fit in the garage... There are quite a few out there and some in loving hands. Send a message to Milindu or MiniAce... they will know very well what the pros and the cons are of a older Merc. I'd say go for it, life is short. D*MO actually looks after the older girls very well and at very competitive prices too.

I seriously doubt a FB15 would have struggled to move. Unless the car was hacked. Most FB15s wont stay long as it is a preferred car for many budget conscious car buyers and in all honesty it is a decent car with excellent value for money.
