This Van engine concept appears to be an epidemic among the RX-7's doesnt it? there was a Red FD with a rather nice veilside-alike Bodykit that was for sale some time back, and when i called the bloke, he said that it had a 1.8L 4 pot from a Mazda Bongo.... as that apparently was one of the few engines that would fit..
Very Sad, but i guess there are people who dont really care about the way cars should be, and simply want 'em to run.....
If i recall the car correctly, the asking price was on the fairly low side.... noticed that the interior resembled the aftermath of a plane crash..... what else is wrong with it fuzzo?
thank you, but if you notice the age of the thread, you'll see that the question was asked in december of 2006.... I've managed to find out what i needed... Thanks for the input..
actually, i get the impression that these pics are of several collections rather than one.... the different garages/backgrounds seem to prove it too....
My initial instinct was to go for the civic, but keep in mind that fuel consumption is rather poor for some reason, now i believe the agents only offer the 1.6l car, not too certain though
The lancer is also a very attractive buy
a ton of work is a bit of an understatement! plus, this car is not one of the classic mustangs, it resembles an oversized mazda or something..... and its a four pot as well but with a turbo......
Oh I dunno machan the americans came up with some decent fighters later in the war, which more than matched the zeros on their own terms.... The Grumman f6F hellcat, and the Vought F4U Corsair are prolly the best examples of the breed
Well let's say I used to drool over that car every morning on the way to work was most disappointed to see that it had gone! are you the owner, by any chance??
The thing with most of the ones that are shown in barns and the like is.... the owners often know how valuable they are, but their tight-fistedness wont let them sell the things and they keep thinking that they will restore the cars, but they never do, and they end up like this....
As far as I know, none exists yet...... I guess Beemer owners haven't really gotten into the "Fraternity" mentality in SL yet..... I could be wrong however, Gtam might be able to elaborate further..
Apparently, one still survives.... check this out.

Two examples of the Russian "Ekranoplan", like you said, a vehicle that uses ground effect to skim a few feet above the waves at high speeds (also called
Wing-In-Ground Effect vehicles) ..... essentially a cross between a hovercraft and an aircraft
