  1. lol, sorry ash, was just happy to see trivia up again... Floor's open to anyone who wants to post btw, if no one does i'll go dig something up
  2. RR Sport Supercharged?
  3. We'll Keep our fingers crossed , that black Z must be the car that was at the borella finance place right? nimber makes sense if so... And it looks like the DB9 owner has gotten quite brave!
  4. Not thinking of disposing of it i suppose? maybe if the buyer promises to sort it out?
  5. Really, you can find one under 900K? wells THAT's interesting, because all the ones I've seen (decently kept ones anyway) tend to be priced at 950K upwards
  6. Im guessing you mean 2 mill to 7 million? Well as hardhat pointed out, there arent many economical options... obviously the Diesel ones will be the best bet for economy.
  7. You might want to get rid of That thing for a start, its been discussed here multiple times that it does NOT work.
  8. why do i get the feeling that this season's running joke could possibly be the "unmasking" of the stig in every episode?
  9. impressive, do you still have the car? im guessing the Series 2 was the white car that was advertised ages ago in the Mo_tor Mag wasnt it? always wondered what became of it...
  10. finalgear.com has the correct full length torrent up.. must say that was quite an episode, also the previews for the season they showed at the beginning looked EPIC!
  11. That Audi sounds impressive, where was it, Germany? and as to the the SL speed, where did you manage that? and is that car still around?
  12. If you mean toyotas, i have couple... both are off roaders though.. when it comes to dependable 4x4 motoring, IMO nobody does it better than toyota.. If you mean Corollas, if the letters AE and the numbers 86 are in the model number, then definitely!
  13. Its just the "Follow the Herd" mentality really.... we are a nation that LOVES the safe bet, and are pathologically averse to taking risks or trying something new, nowhere is this more evident that the dominance of the damned corolla in the car market.
  14. Yup, I'd also say go with eagle... been with them for 2 years now and they really are quite good, service levels are high and premiums tend to be among the lowest of the lot... also, ive heard that Am#na Tak#ful are also now doing a decent job Often it seems the little guy (comparatively) in the business is the one that will go the extra mile for the customer in order to retain him/her, i've noticed this with eagle...
  15. There is a REASON people dont answer questions about drag locations on the forums.... in case you need it spelled out why, it's because people of the sort who are likely cause issues for the drags are likely to read about them as well.... so you might want to edit your post eh?
  16. First of all, ease up on the font size man! people on this forum aint blind so there's no need to post huge letters. As to your question, the EFI engined later cars are always the best choice if you can find/afford them, will be newer, and comparatively have less to worry about if they've been looked after. There were a few that popped up on the Autolanka Classifieds, just trawl through and take a look Here's one http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=10671 and another http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=10302
  17. Dude, dont believe everything every joker tells you. The CRX is a lightweight, 2 seater coupe whereas the EK3 is a 4 door family sedan.. so its kinda unlikely that the the 4 door family car is lighter than the 2 seater coupe which is SMALLER, dont ya think? for reference http://specs.amayama.com/specs-honda-civic...7-august/12515/ There is the spec sheet of the 1997 Civic Ferio EK generation Si sedan, Notice the "Kerbweight"? 1130 KG and here http://specs.amayama.com/specs-honda-cr-x-...eptember/11346/ is the spec sheet of the 1990 Honda CR-X SiR (which has the B16A motor), notice the weight there? 970 KG Now im no "performance expert", nor do i claim to be a honda expert, but any schlob can probably see that the CRX is lighter by a whole 160 Kilos. Of course this advantage can be lost if you have a couple of dozen kilos of fiberglass hanging off your car (Bodykits and such), but as you can see above, whoever told you the weight tale wasn't being entirely truthful.
  18. OT this, but curious, dude your username, is it the car or the plane?
  19. The prius is not exactly a common car in Sri Lanka, there are at most probably 3 or 4 cars in total. All of those that are in private hands are first generation cars. As far As I Know, no examples of the later cars are with private owners... I think Toyota itself has a demo car. Your only option is to wait until one of the cars is put up for sale, one was circulating around not too long ago.
  20. Cute Pics meanGreen... found "education" to be the best, how did HE react? no pics of him being introduced to dad's hobby?
  21. hmm, i was thinking it over this morning, i guess simple lap belts would be the best option, in fact i think the car came with a set, i didnt fit them after the rebuild, must hunt them up and see if they are salvageable... other option is to rip out my (admittedly rather impractical) cream colored interior, and toss in a pair of sports seats with four point harnesses!
  22. As is quite common, I dont agree with you. The current market situation is such that people are getting tight for cash, so there are definitely fewer people looking to buy cars, while a lot of people are looking to sell, therefore those who DO want to buy (and have the finances to do so) have chances to get great bargains, because sellers are in a rush to sell. Supply and demand. Personally, i dont see any reason to be afraid of a car that looks like a good deal, AS LONG AS you have checked it thoroughly beforehand and ensured that it isnt hiding anything. @ Nilantha: dude, when you are making a statement, at least do people the service of justifying WHY you say such a thing, instead of giving one liners like the above.
  23. yep, the bright red one with the big spoiler.... one hell of an awesome car, and the owner is a very nice bloke, managed to have a chat with him about the car... he's a proper high octane petrolhead lol... oh btw dude, we saw you walking about with the camera, wanted to say hi but you looked busy so thought we'd wait for later, then couldnt find you!
