ya i knw wat u mean. wen i set d valve 2 soft, i hear d squeal wen i gas up.. dont hav 2 rev hard.. cn hear a continous squeal as long as i keep my foot on d pedal 75% downwards... dats early releasing of the BOV. wen its set 2 hard den i hav 2 rev hard n let go quick so as so hear d swoosh!.. but still no sign of any leaks in idle n all. d spring is rely hard so doesnt tend to leak. craftmanship looks good though..

lol! me bro ;-) -
wat do u mean by boost leak bro? dey r meant to release the excess air dat is sucked in through the turbo wich accumulates once the accellarator is released.. so the stock valve does d same thing. d BOV i got is by AutoGauge with an adjuster for high and low.. got it from Motorcade in colmb. Emsees doesnt hav any.. Chek the FB group 'Kandy Racing Club' images.. got many performance upgrade stuffs.. btw ive got a Ej20 Twin Turbo engine wit auto gbox with AWD drive train front and rear. radiator and complete exhaust pipe as well. lemme knw if anyone's interested. also hav a set of Bilstein shocks.. Car Pulling To The Left – Any Reasons Why ???
DJshehan replied to mazdaspeed's question in Mechanical problems
i had d same prob in my car. prob was a worn rack end. den from last month my jeep wuz pulling to the left side constantly.. it wz there for a long time. thot it wz d ball joint n alignment. didnt hav time to check. den did d alignment and changed the idler arm. den the pulling reduced. idler arm wz worn n d alignment wz out. but since the prob wz still there the fela who did d alignment said to swap both front tyres left and right with the rim. did it! guess wat? now it started pulling to the right!! said dat the alloy wheel is dent sumwhere or must b out of place.. try dis method n c.. may b dis mite b d culprit in urs as well!! -
Hey i wanna knw wats d difference it makes if v remov the restrictor at d downpipe on the right side. it doesnt come on the left side of the engine. k dats 1 next - out of the two restrictors in the mid piping, one is the resonator and d other is the cat. which is which now? wots d first one? is it d resonator or d cat? and i hear it greatly reduces fuel economy if v remov dem but can get a loud rumble!! which im after! (btw at the joint where the two exhaust pipes from the engine, i have seen two ceramics just after the joint - to the backside of the car.. altogether looks like there are 3 restrictors in the whole piping from the engine to the middle of the car! need help on which is which!) now, if v remov d restrictor at the downpipe (first one - right side downpipe) wonder wat harm it could do? any loss on torque or backpressure? performance loss? will i be able 2 get a nice rumble from my back exhaust? coz i get only d rumble at idle and not wen accellarating.. Btw ive got a K&N cone filter installed in my legacy B4 and the engine started to miss. prob wit the MAF sensor.. had to remove the filter.. now Ok. but i wz told dat i hav 2 reset the ecu 2 correct the MAF reading. wondr how far dats true. but i got down an Apexi cone type filter n got a locally made adapter for it. will fix it around nxt week n hope for the best!!! one more thing.. when the engine is started should both turbos thrust air from the outlets to the intercooler unit or only one? coz in mine air flows only in one - the left side. so i guess thats d primary turbo. Secondary turbo kicks in at around 70 to 80 Kmph. ive got sum videos in the FB group 'Kandy Racing Club' .. cn chek em out.. not d engine but just a few races.. lol!! Thanx in advance.. btw ive got a set of Bilstein shocks for subaru and a spare twin turbo engine wit auto gearbox with all wheel drive train front and rear + complete exhaust piping and radiator.. lemme knw if any1 interested

hey bro, though d legacy is heavy, its equipped wit twin turbo! it'l beat da crap outta hondas!!!!

i had a prob in ma subaru n it wz pullin 2 d left wen i accellarate.. prob wuz a worn rack end. replaced it n ddid d alignment. now its fine! -
hey ppl, i own a 99 legacy B4 RSK twin turbo (EJ20 engine)-kandy. RSK comes wit da blitszen shocks n aluminium lower arms. heard dat da front bumper is a bit diffrnt bt nt sure abt dat. btw i fitted an HKS sequential blowoff n din get a sound 4rm it! den swapped it for an aftermarket blowoff 4rm MC n it sounds fine. but hav 2 rev though 2 get da swoosh sound! now im havin secnd thoughts cz im wastin fuel jus 2 hear dat sound! lol!!!!

Cold Starting Issue-engine Vibration

you probably hav a low fuel pressure issue.. check the injectors check the fuel pressure regulators - u shud chek dis first or u must be havin a failing fuel pump or a weak fuel pump.. had a similar prob in ma subaru legacy.. replaced the pump.. best of luck.. -
check th eengine mounts.. check the fuel to air mixture ratio - u hav to take it 2 a garage for dis or a tuner to b more precise. hope there is no valve leak in the engine.. check the idle sensor if u have one. check the plugs check the plug wires best of luck..

u must have put dat mega bottle water into the coolant reservoir! usually when engine heats up, water expands. the excess water goes out of the coolant reservoir (plastic tank). when the engine cools, the water in the coolant reservoir is sucked back into the engine. the little water left shud be in the normal factory marking of eithr MAX or MIN in the tank. there is so much more space in the tank for u 2 add more water. so no probs.. as long as the water is in the MAX position, dont worry. i hav experiencd those probs b4. even if u had airbubbles in the system, dis wud hapn. but returns to normal aftr u run the vehicl for arnd 2 days. Air bubbles or air space occurs aftr you hav completely drained the system, like a water change or coolant change or a flush. for the heatin prob, jus change the temp plug.. cost nly arnd 300 odd or max 700. u plug maybe weak or its contaminated wit rust or sediment. Best of luck!!

first of all check whethr there is a current flow to the heater plugs when you turn the ignition to ON position. if its k den no heater problems takin into account dat ur heater plugs are new.. next time try to kick da diesel pum (the round button like thing on top of the diesel fuel filter). kick means not wit ur leg! ha ha. press it around 5 to 10 times until its becomes hard to press. den try starting. coz if there is an air leak in the fuel filter gasket, (O Ring) den there will not be any pressure n diesel will go back to the tank from the filter. so u have to keep on starting to bring back that fuel to fill the filter and then the pump. if all else fails, then after u start the vehicle n run for around 10 to 15mins or after a small drive, remove the hose that goes from the intake manifold to the head tappet cover. if u see white smoke or even smoke for that matter, that means u have a compression leak. this means ur engine is worn. replace the piston rings. this will solve ur probs.. u might be lucky if ur piston sleeves arent bruised.. cz if u find lines on dem, den u have to resleeve them as well which will cost u 5000 to 8000 for the sleeves only. this happens if u still run the vehicle with a compression leak, without changing the piston rings.. wel, best of luck!!

u cud have done dat urself.. easy.. he has reduced the amount of petrol intake at idle.. dats all
