  16. Well yea, there's this retrofit from a Japanese truck, can't exactly remember a Canter or Elf that can be fitted to add a servo mechanism, i didn't prefer to complicate it.. There is also a UK based importer of a device to make this clutch lighter.. I've heard the current Defender is a nightmare to wade with all the electronics..
  17. I'm really not sure how much it exactly totaled, perhaps somewhere above 2mil
  18. There was no TRD diesel Hilux, only a 2GR-FE petrol with supercharger.. Also I've heard there was a TRD sportivo variant but it only had cosmetic and suspension upgrades. So I doubt there was a TRD ecu...
  19. Hi there fellas, I'm planning to get down one of these Chips (see link) for my Hilux.. Well I have very little knowledge on these electronic chip bits, can anyone please let me know; http://www.ebay.com/...GB:3160&vxp=mtr are these power gains significant? has anyone tried this on any car? is it gonna mess up the engine? any damage? is the above unit decent/convincing? Thanks
  20. Well you cant expect jap reliability machan nor comfort, small things can come up.. it'll never be an SUV, quite a rough ride. Fuel is not an issue.. Parts are considerably costly and so are repairs (but DIY heaven if you know your stuff).. But once it is working it'll put a smile on yer face..
  21. It was a bit hard to get used to, but after a while was quite ok.. Yea the seals let go once, then replaced both the pumps then she was alright.. Except that my left leg is still a bit bigger
