  1. Guys, I got a paintjob for my EK3 (Inza Red Pearl - original color) about two years back but I am not happy with the result, it's a total waste of money. It has bubbles coming out here and there and it's already faded and not shiny enough for me. Can any of you recommend a good place for a repaint? I would preffer some place cheep may be around 40K Cheers...

  3. No machan, no white smoke. No creamy oil on the oil cap. Cap pressure was 1.1 previously, but after I change the radiator head it didn't fit in (Diameter was not right I gues) 0.9 fitted and they told me to use it (So like an idiot I did ). Any suggestions?
  4. Yeah.. I cleaned my radiator, replaced the radiator head and replaced the water pump few months back. But the issue is still there. after about 100km drive, the water level in the res tank drops in about 2 inches. My cap presure is 0.9. First I suspect it was the gasket, but my mech checked and told the gasket is fine. May be I must get a 1.1 bar cap. Also I am running on water since because of this, can that do some extra damage to the engine? Cheers..
  5. I too have a similer issue mine is 1997 exi. Can you tell me a better place to do a pressure test? I totaly agree machan, mine is manual and it was around 2.5 at the same speed. Cheers, Mac

  8. Well guys I think I am not that late to add a comment for this. I took my EK3 to Zaki for a tune (Got the recomendation through Auto lanka members) And I was impressed. He did a good job, I realy felt the diffrence after the tune up. I didn't saw his name in any of the comments so I thought of add his name to the list. Cheers guys
  9. :lol: :lol: Give that poor guy a break machans... It's his fantasy. You'll find lots of LED stuff if you drive around darley road man. Don't know the price... but LEDs are cheaper. BTW Komisiripala thumbs up for this LMAO
  10. Correct... I had the same issue sometimes back. And I did exactly the same (O ring replacement) It didn't help. So I took it to another guy and he identified the issue is with the oil seal. It cost me around 1500 to replace the oil seal and now there is no leak. For the ignition sound, you might need to adjust the ignition timing by retarding the ignition. Even you can do it by yourself if you have a fair knowledge about timing adjustment (But leave it to an expert ). Cheers machan, Mac

  14. Best thing is to keep the level to its maximum, not above that. It will make more smoke and pollute the air. My father's car got failed the emission test because of this . He used to add a little more above the level to the engine. And I honestly don't have any idea about leaks . Hope you'll get a better answer from the other members

  17. Guys, another problem in ek3 just came to my mind. Door handles... Rear door handle pops out from the door panel after some time. And the solution is quite easy , borrow your wife's hair dryer and heat the inner side of the handle and bend it. (remember: DO NOT BEND IT TOO HARD & DO NOT OVER HEAT IT) Otherwise it will remove the nice texture on it cheers

  22. Yep, it is there inside the injectors. Only thing is you haven't noticed it.
  23. keep the injector filters aside bro. This is not related to the tune up. And yes the sound comes loud when the engine is cold, smiler ticking sound like tappet noise. Piston slap is something that comes with engine wear. When the gap between the piston and the cylinder wall increases, it gives this annoying sound . Cheers machan.
  24. Guys, I think I am hearing a piston slap from my D15z4. First I thought it's a tappet noise, and got the tappet adjusted. But the sound is still there. Anyways its time for me to change the engine oil as well. But If I Go for the repair, what are the things should I do or replace? And any idea about the cost? One of my friend got the same problem in his exi and overhauled the engine and he told me it seems like a common issue with D15z4s is it true?
