Hi Carbon so you can manage just on 95 octane without octane booster. Dont you have any engine knocking or pinging from the knock sensor? Im talking about Turbo boost i heard b4's should boost more than 10 PSI but with our crappy petrol people have told me this is not possible.

Do the B4 owners on AL run octane booster or tolouene with 95OCT petrol? Do you get full boost with 95 oct petrol?

Main issue with the B4 is that it needs 100 octane petrol which you dont get over here. In the past alot of B4's have blown engine's by runing 95 ocatane. May be the B4 owners on AL can share their experience with this factor. You might need to run Toluene or octane booster with every full tank of Gas.

Spares at Senok are extremely expensive but there work is probably the best in town for Subarus.... I have heard other places are as expensive or even more than Senok but have no clue as to what they are doing. Have b4 prices increased again?

There are only about 5 manuals in the country and are owned by true enthusiasts. A good B4 will cost you anything from 2.2 and above you get cars for under 2 mil but are in bad condition and high milage or accident cars. Your better off spending a bit more and getting a good car. The auto b4's are easy to drive but then who buys an auto Subaru best is to get a manual but since there are only less than 6 to 5 you have no chance.

Pet#o charged Rs3000 for complete installation including the RCA cables and much better quality fuse, fuse holder, speaker cables and power cable. Advance charged only Rs 2000 for all shit cables and without the RCA cables and installation charges were separate complete rip off. Also a friend of mine took his 121 for headlight cleaning....they wanted 9 grand to do it.......

Bottom line is if you wanna get cheated go to Advance!!!!! The two fuse holders and fuses and wires must have cost them Max Rs 300 they charged me Rs2000.....

My Amp is more than 480W so it was def not enough.... The power line they used for the AMP was so thin you wouldnt use it even for your house electrical stuff Took it to Pet#o they used a nice BIG Thick power line and high quality Fuse and holder.

What im trying to say for the same price you pay at Pet#o they give you better quality cables than Advance. Also the staff working there are not professional at all and poor quality of service. For the AMP they coupled two 20AMP fuses which by far is not enough.....

I dont know about caska but what ever you do dont go to Advance electronics to get anything installed. I went there last month they took the whole day just to install a amp into my car and they used the cheapest qulity of cables and speaker wires. When the bill came they over charged me for everything i was so fed up i just paid the bill and told my self ill never go there again. After using the stereo for 2 days it stoped working and i knew it was becaused of the cheap cables they used i went to Pet#o this time got everything with good cables and now its working fine. Dont be fooled by thier big advertisments in the hitad they are not professional at all. If you guys dont belive me go and check the quality of cables they use to install amps speakers etc and then see what Pet#o has. You will never sight advance again poor cheap quality service.

Never trust car sale guys its all bullshit last week i was at a place where car interiors are done in colombo and there was a brandnew Toyota Premio. The car sale guy was talking on the phone to another car sale guy and he mentioned in Sinhalese 'car eka hodatama hodey milage ekake adu karanda onne na' i was shocked to hear this. Most jdm cars in colombo the milage is changed as in japan there is no way these cars will run such low milages considering the distances they travel. Apparently there is a famous guy that does it close to pamankada kohuwala side with more than 10 unreg cars a day been done. The guy is doing so well he owns a subaru sti 9 now.

Car sales guys are the biggest liars on the planet..... It dosen't look like car prices are going up but only coming down With more Vehicles been imported even sales of 95 octane petrol have increased compared to 90 with people with newer JDM cars opting to pump 95 octane. Also Insurance company's are getting greater revenue from increased amount of vehicles been insured. RMV is a busy place these days with Vehicles queing up for new registrations. Overall the government is getting more revenue from the above points thats why they are decreasing import duty's even more.

Don think so buddy this time even second hand market will come down
