  1. Last year when I got mine done over the counter, they had to sign it off as there was a transfer of province as well it was then that they told me that I can do it online. And when I asked if the same test report reference can be used they said no that a new one was needed. I'm just going by that. If it can be used again, then hell I'm going to save 1000 bucks this year
  2. Then obviously no, or else the whole purpose would be lost & everyone would be doing it Its valid for 1 year if it hasn't been used.
  3. Ya if it hasn't been used you can.
  4. Ya the packages are cheaper, picture quality was also really good & moreover there were no interruptions when it started raining. They were using the SLT posts for their cabling, etc at the time. so i think they needed to get approval for drawing the lines across, etc etc. When I first got it, the house opposite to mine had a connection & it took them 3 months to get approval for mine. Ya it is a shame that they don't expand, probably more to it for them to get approval etc.

  7. I personally think LBN is the way to go if its covered in your area. I used it for about 7 years when I was in Wellawatte. No problems whatsoever. Sadly they don't cover Borella which kinda sucks.
  8. And a really big garage

Don't think so machan, whatever speed your doing (in most cars) & if your alone/tired can make you doze off if your not going to be veering/overtaking other vehicles. Fatigue can get to anyone.
  10. I don't disagree that most cops do take bribes, what I said was that it was discussed about reporting cops in a previous post & people who shared their comments mentioned that nothing came out of doing it, It would just shown him talking to you. Could mean anything machan in the eyes of someone else watching it. But I think the point is that you can't have anything in your hands when holding the wheel. So having it in your hand and holding the wheel would make it the same offence.
  11. Hmm the topic of reporting cops has been covered before & quite a few have shared their experience in doing so. Basically the law is that you can't hold the phone in your hand. Using a hands free unit isn't. I have been with people who have been stopped holding the phone. So in theory just answering calls, etc. Unless you have voice dialing.

Maybe machan, I just caught a glimpse of the news story @ the 55th. The rear looked like a 121, I could be wrong. Also noticed that the AB hasn't deployed... Faulty? Not belted up?

Ya machan, came across a few of those over the weekend on the E01. My little hatch did fair better though with 2 others in the car + bags & refreshments for the end of the journey There was Priass doing 40 with its lights on in the right lane, not forgetting the van we were trying to overtake & then he suddenly decided to drift to the next lane. Its a Sri Lankan trait that they can't stick to the designated lanes or move over for faster vehicles even on normal roads. Mirrors in the cars just for grooming for these people.
