Hey JaySun, Maxa..!! Ithink you covered pretty much every thing. 100% agreed..! About the door issue my old Viva's doors close easily than the new Elite doors (But the rear doors are not that bad right?). But the new Elite is comparatively silent thanthe old Viva.

What i meant was the sales man said that new Viva comes with this immobiliser. So the total value will be +7500. So i paid that and took the car. I did not went into details and argue with them. I know they are all liars. So no point of argue.. (My advice is just pay it and finish it off)

I didn't went into details mate. My salesman asked me extra 7.5K so i gave it and took the car. (Thinking to my self this is the last time)..

I think Nomad is around 1.8Mil (not sure), Do you have any recon 'suv type' vehicles for that price? I think Cami, Rush, Terios are all way too away from that price right? (I think second hand Cami is near that).

I see that its black (just had a look). But dnt know whether its locally applied or not. As i can remember the old Viva also had it black (Cnt check it now, i'm at office now).. Are u sure its a somewhat coating..? I thought its just a paint..

Dnt know abt the vehicle, but Be careful as it's the same agent..!! You can find lot of comments abt this agent (Uni%^) in threads like 'Immobiliser For Viva Elite' or 'Waiting Time For Brand New Vehicles' where ppl have gone through lot of sh#t with this agent..

As of my knowledge 'Nop'. I didn't even notice such a thing. No one mention abt this 'undercoating' thing when i collect the car..

yep ....definitely correct what he said.they are fu..ing liers. still i am waiting.now its been 4 months later with same answers.... I collected my car last Friday, Even i payed Rs.7500 for the immobilizer.. (If the immobilizer is factory fitted why are they charging it separately..??) 1. May be they are trying to collect some money as they are running out of business 2. May be they cheat their customers initially saying that the car is 14.95 or 15.95 and later adding the immobilizer charge. 3. Etc.. Etc.. Etc..

As per the user manual says if you lost one key you have to send the key to Perodua factory and they will program another key and send you both. And it also says you can request upto 4 keys at the time of ordering the car. In my openion i would prefer the old / traditional key system. Because if a thief want to take the car anyway they will do it. Most probably they dnt take the car but they will break-in and take the valueble in the car (eg- a wallet,...) Mind you this smart key is only effective to the ignition. Not for the doors.. (As per the user manual).. - As of i know after market imobiliser systems are not that expensive. I fixed one from S#n La#$a for 12K and there were also cheaper ones. (But i did not fix after market security systems to my old viva, i very muck ok with the factory fitted security system)

Mine is a Manual one machan. As i went to collect my car last friday i saw few more manual ones while i was talking with the ppl who have come to collect their cars. Most of them have ordered end of March and early April. I dnt think you can get the advance machan. If you can see the reciept says 'non refundable'. Also it has no 'balance payment' mentioned and no 'delivary date' mention in it.. Only thing you can do is wait. No option machan.. Shape eke inna wei, naththam thawa delay wei..

Those who are willing to buy better consult a user and see it ur self. Never ever believe what sales ppl say.. But in youtube i saw some videos with ppl doing some tricks with Geely LC (Micro Panda). Looks to me its a car with far amout of engine power. Its always better to speak to a actual user and make decision (To but or not). And also waiting time for brandnew cars in SL is sooooo long.(There is a seperate theard for that)..

Ya that’s true. All videos which comes in Youtube when you search 'Perodua viva top speed' are videos with viva's going 160km/h+.. So anyone says that it cn't go over 100km/h + steadily on non busy roads that means that person cn't drive..

They really don't tell the exact date. When i ordered in April they said 'at best' the car will deliver in end of May and most probably it will be in June. No written evidence to take any action.

I think new Elite is better than my Viva (Which i bought last time), little more silent than the old Viva. But the door r bit stiffer than the old viva. I think the door beeding is different than the old one. I ordered a white one this time. Uni#$ called me y'day evening to come and collect the car. I think they'll call you prob on Monday.

Just checkout my case with Uni*** Mo**S..; - Ordered the car in first week of April and they promise to deliver in June. - Gave a call in June and asked the status. **Excuse 1. - Shipment is delayed due to Tsunami in Japan. - Gave a call in July. **Excuse 2 - The colour and features that i ordered will take time to come. (I didn't order a kitchen and a bathroom for my car) - Gave a call in August. **Excuse 3 - Now the car is in SL but the customs are having a issue that Chasie number is not linked with their system. - I will give a call in September and let know the status.... @##$# %$^ $% $^$$^$%^& FFFFFF!!!!!!!.. - On top of this remember that somewhere between april and may there was a Tax increase? Even though i ordered the car before this the company asked me to pay for the new price..!! (Plus more due to increase of vehicle registration charges) I HAD ENOUGH WITH THIS SHIT..!!! kMeeg.

Hmm.. May be next time.. And on other hand why should we pay more to the company.. Is it b'cos of the warranty we get or for the 'FREE Service' we get which you have to pay for all the parts, oil, cotton wastes,etc....?? (Still you have to pay around 5-7K)

I bought my first car from Uni** Motors some time back and at that time cars were available in stock. So this time also i went to the same place to buy another brandnew car. But this time they didn't have cars in stock. They ask me to make an advance payment and reserve a car. So i did that in first week of April... And i'm still waiting.. On top of that i ordered the car before the tax increase but now they ask me to pay for the new value..(Damn) I think this is same with all brandnew vehicle importers. So those who are willing to buy brandnew vehicles better be prepared to face these kind of things. In my personal view i'd go for a second hand car next time. Because when you are buying a second hand car you defntly have a better market value at the time you are selling it and when you are selling a brand new car the market value would be lesser than you bought.. (I had enough with buying brandnew cars..!!) PS - This is not discouraging those who want to buy brandnew cars, its abt the shit i went through..

Machan u certainly can push 180Km/h+ if you know the time & roads machan. But not sure with small cars.. (i enjoyed putting my speedometer photo's in FB.. But i drive safe in traffic.) Tip - If you dnt have time to go outstation goto Sapugaskanda to Biyagama new road.. Enjoy..!! Drive safe..

Last night i checked some videos in YouTube and i found Viva 1.0 Auto going @ 160Km/h & Viva 1.0 Manual going @ 170Km/h+.. Lots of videos are from Viva 1.0 Auto, but there were few with manual ones.. Certainly not bad for 1.0L little car..
