Hello, I am planning to buy a 141 in near future. And would like to hear from people who owns the same car about the spare parts availability other than from the agent. My mechanic said since these were brought down brand new by the agents, spares are not available at other shops. Is it true? Please feel free to share your first hand experinces. Thank you!

Baught a starlet few years back.here are my comments on the car. Economical - 9.5 - 10 kmpl city. highways 16-17 kmpl For a car of its capacity , very stable at highspeeds/ highways Decent space for passengers compared to other hatchbacks. Very reliable , Repaired the ac when i baught it. No any other repairs yet. Although it s an old car moves very well when you step on it.

These are very minor issues.Any auto electrician will fix these. BTW there is a guy called nishantha in boralesgamuwa. PM me for details.

Default value is 700.That is printed underneath the bonnet. 1.I dont know about that. 2.Never it has.

Yes the Idle control valve is working fine.

The vibrations fades away after 5-10 mins. Thank you for the advice. i will look into that matter.

car does not have a rpm meter.Mech and myself does not pick any rpm fluctuations. It is noticed in cold starts if i switch off the AC the vibrations fades away.

rpm level does not fluctuate.The whole steering rack and the bonnet tends to vibrate.

So this problem still persists after many days at the garage and at the electrician. My car is a starlet ep 82 , 1994 automatic.clocks 105000 kms. On cold starts the car vibrates in "D" or "R" with AC on when brakes are engaged.If i let it go, then no vibration. with out AC or in "N" or "P" it runs without a hustle. This vibration fades away after 5-1o mins on the run.After that no problem at all. Engine tune up done at Nishanthas in Borelasgamuwa.He asked me to replace the throttle body as well. I did that also. Your valuable comments are mostly welcome. Any good mech plus a electrician to solve this matter?Thank you.
