  1. Well i have some experience with the nissan patrol Y61 face lifted version but it a manual . Judging by the price i think its one of them for a 3 liter engine the manual has good power but u have to be in the right gears meaning doing quick up shifts for lankan economic style driving is not that preferred by the engine because its a big vehicle otherwise great pulling power n good engine. there are quit a few model variants on this jeep spec wise be sure to go for a high spec one which is always nice, the resent imports with the doc permits lack some options . N on our one the dash board developed an issue where it got bubbles where its gotten exposed to the sun i've seen this on quit a few other also in the same model year but it can be replaced i hope the issue is fixed on recent imports. comfort wise its a bit stiff n hard because its mainly aimed at 4x4 but its not that bad but in my opinion the prado 150 is much better comfort wise n easy to self drive.hope i was help full
  2. well as far as i knw the disco frm frontier was available for provincial council member duty free facility for USD 40k n the parliament facility which is 50k but i could be wrong
  3. is the nissan patrol on offer the old Y61 model or the new shaped Y62????
  4. don't really knw abt the 110 bt defender 90 was available for the govt. servants (DR.) permit if i recall correctly n i saw a few 90's running around Colombo with K Reg plates opposed to the mostly L or P Reg 110's we mostly see.
  5. 160 km/h 3L hilux vigo D-cab on southern expressway
  6. Well we had a old mitsubishi L200 and pretty recently we upgraded to a Hilux 3.0l .These things have come a long way since the good old days, especially in the interior department .But they are also a bit more expensive to run compared to the older models but still they are good honest machines. I'm not the biggest fan of the Navara and i think the current mitsubishi on offer is just plain old ugly .with the current market for vehicles in SL D-cabs are a very attractive options considering the other stuff on offer for that price b'cuz if u are going for a diesel jeep or something, minimum u'll end up buying something over 10years old if u r lucky. But the ride is something u gotta look out for in cabs as u might have heard by now. hope i've helped.
