Yes I accept that a toyota 4x4 can be passed to even u'r grand son's son, and topgear showed that the hilux couldn't be killed, Yes they are great work horses, But tell me frankly is driving along in u'r hilux even 10% as enjoyable as driving u'r passat

A neighbor who use one told me it was a 2wd one as for petrol suvs they don't do anything near what is said in the brochures in sri lankan conditions

The vitz has 10 or 8 bars if 3 bars were left there will only be about 30% left in the tank + the volume till the filler cap. So the fuel used was 42*70%l = 29.4l So the fuel economy is = 13.6 km/l So do u'r calculations correctly rather than trying to say the useless car that u bought does more to the liter tough it vibrates more than a diesel. Ok if this is the amount u payed for please tell me the petrol shed u go to i'll be filling up there after now. And also ask u'r wife if she had filled or pumped Rs1000.00 between the trips

I've seen have that the Renault and some othr brands of prime movers imported to sri lanka dCi engines, So will they have those problems? And there are some diesel dCi x-trails imported here (by passing A*W) so will they also face a problem like the GDi pump And also isn't peugeot 407 HDi s simillar to GDi And according to what i know they are running fine aren't they. So I think it's a GDi isolated problem isn't it?

I've used that model nzt 260 premio it comes with 14" steel wheel. but u can go for a 15" the fuel econ, will reduce and some other bad effects too I recomend staying with the original but if u realy need one jj dehiwala is a good place I got a recon set for a good price in the past they were good. but don't know about them now

there r 3 engines 1L k12 1.2L ak12 and 1.4L bk12 The 1L is underpowered do consumes more fuel, don't know much about the 1.4L But the 1.2L is average. I use one the only repairs I had for 8 yrs is the changing of brake pads,alternator brushes. After treating it like hell. Don't be deceived by the looks it's a pretty hardy car. Some times u could find one for 14 but i think it will be at least 15 because k11s also ask for about 13, Regarding the manual - yes it is fun to drive i also like to use manuals but as this is a ladies town car(no offense ) it would be hard for u to sell a manual one one day, Mine is auto and has a good pickup i think the manual will be better but don't worry about the auto box as it doesn't have defects like in other brands.

From u'r selection the most luxurious is the petrol montero but it's better to go for a brand new bought non Gdi version due to the GDi must be fed with 95 octane, The CR-V, Grand vitara rav4 X-trai(unregistered) can be considered, from which the x-trail will be better. But the petrol Suv's will do less than 6-7kmpl so if u ran a lot it's wise to go for a sanyong or kia sportage (old) hyunadai tucson(old) diesel than going for box prados and intercooler 2800s which r more than 15 yrs old

Audi's and vw's are solidly built cars and 10yrs will not be a problem, But always spare some green for repairs as there might be some (even in similar aged japs). Don't get the false interpretation that parts r expensive and hard to find, any thing can be brought to u'r door step via e-bay. As the hilarious prices given to 10 or more yrs old corolla 110's the Audi A4's and Vw passat's are a steel for this money. There are places to maintain these cars at toyota maintenance money, And as u'r talking about the TDi. This may soud a little harsh in the morning but frankly it is Le Mans winning tech. Yet prado and hilux owners need not worry their tail pipes are less complected than a toilet plumbing, But in European cars santafe s and sorrento s there are catheletic converters.
