It also depends on the power output. A 1500cc engine of one make would produce 130 bhp while the other would produce 100 bhp. And also the RPM which the maximum power is achieved. The engines which produces more power at lower rev bands would be more fuel efficient in city driving
Bro good acceleration doesn't mean that it should always have higher displacement engines. Its about Power to weight ratio. And Higher Engine capacity doesn't always mean those cars does less on fuel. Some cars which have 1300cc engines might have higher fuel consumption than the 1500cc variant of the same car. Its not about displacement bro. Its about power and weight
Don't go for it bro. It will spoil the handling (*Cornering) and also will rub against the mudguard when the the car is loaded. The Steering also might feel heavier
I've seen 3 wheelers with 3 headlights (including one in the front mud guard) and these buggers drive around in the full beam blinding everyone around. I think D*MO batta owners are using high power bulbs (*90/100w) because for me they seem to be brighter than conventional bulbs
Bro, All most all the wheels in Darley road are replicas ranging from 4k-7k. A good original one like momo or Sparco will cost about 30k . If you are after originals search for used one's. Also make sure you get the correct boss kit
I've also heard many people complaining about new Marutis and most of the issues are suspension related ones. So I think Maruti company might be using very low quality shock absorbers as a cost cutting method. And yes, Some people buy Marutis for city running due to their fuel efficiency
We too had a similar issue and the foreman at the workshop said that Rear shocks has some packing and it should be replaced. . Anyway after sometime that sound disappeared
Did they take the car for a test drive?.Might probably be an issue with the bushes. The people at Kitulwatte workshop are lazy fellows (talking with experience). They always try to get away by telling something or else suggesting a replacement.Take your car to the Rajagiriya workshop. They are better than the guys at Kitulwatte. Meet Mr.Menaka (Assistant engineer) and complain about the issue. As the car is under warranty agents should replace the necessary parts free of charge.
They are called Dish alloys . Using them without having wheel arches will be quite messy. Specially in rainy days as it splashes mud all over also small stones get thrown towards the doors due to these wheels. Its better to buy alloys having the manufacturer specified offset
If it is best in performance,
Oil filters- K&N,MANN
Air filters- K&N,AEM,Apexi.
No idea about fuel filters. Most of the time these cost twice or thrice the price of the OEM part. So if you aren't after performance, its better to stick to OEM parts
