is it me or is everyone these days looking for a B4 anyways happy to hear that. pretty straight fwd in finding one. go through the normal channels like AL and quick site or even a little call to senok might help as well since the guys there might know of any cars that are in the market. Manuals are pretty hard to come by of which some are hacked but there were some good cars which were kept in mint condition and so far haven't heard the owner parting with them. find the car (Number plate) you want and give call to Jehan@ Senok workshop. he should be able to give you a little heads up on the car and even might ask you to bring the car around and do a free inspection. its also advisable that you do a checkup else where like C*rCh*cks just so you have a little piece of mind about the investment you are gonna put into it. IF not properly serviced and taken care of i would recommend on staying far far away. so far i have been advised by a lot before i went n bought mine and m not sorry at all. If you need any help let me know happy hunting

@dasunh - i just PM'd you on your question. Even though i do not have a WRX i wrote some info that will be useful on your buy. no offense m not a fan of a WRX though... went on a ride in one... the thrill is epic BUT constant stiff suspension n rumble will not last in my good books much. i prefer the Legacy much more... a comfortable cruiser plus a pissed off flat four if i gently tickle her throttle is my cup of tea

The memory card like one on my own setup is Sony SD card which is actually expensive, i was told a 2GB one was 2500LKR :/ (check the image) i am not familiar with the model u have but on mine IF you insert a normal CD it will start ripping the songs to the HDD on its own and inform once done. You can write your own CD's but it should be written through the windows media player (WMA format)
-
Chances are you are looking at a car setup that was purely made for the Jap market so there wont be any English manual, but what you can do (like me) is to use google translator on your phone and translate the words. after a few attempts you wont need the App you will know what to do n not to do

Things To Check When Buying A Used Prius
Muditha420 replied to chathudagr8's question in Car Buying Information
Best options would be to take the car and have it check at TL or other vehicle inspection places which you can find and they will give u a run down of the car...apart from that you could google for some information to keep in mind when u do go for respective sellers. -
you will be surprised how annoying it will get when u start deciding which colour to put some might look silver but its actually gray in "Name", go figure!!!
-
As long as there is the word "Silver" on the paint you will be applying and on the book, you should be okay. no matter what shade of silver it maybe. there are a lot of shades mate...to the greener side to sort of a copper side of silver as well. best bet is to just go where they sell car paint get the catalogs and go through them. every manufacturer will have there unique sorta silver with them

was an interesting issue here so googled it up... "You may possibly have a bad tire or wheel, or a badly worn tie rod end or ball joint or suspension bushing, or a cracked suspension control arm, or a binding brake pad/shoe. Generally, alignment issues in the absence of worn or damaged parts will result in very consistent steering anomalies... with the exception of severe toe-in/toe-out issues, which may make one or both tires "bind-and-skip". Toe-in and toe-out issues, though, very seldom cause the vehicle to drift to either side - neither wheel gets steering preference. Instead, toe issues tend to make the vehicle wander side-to-side randomly as one tire "takes command", then the other tire "takes command". First thing - check tire pressure on all four wheels, and get the same pressure (within very close tolerances) in all four. Second thing... jack up the right front wheel and spin it by hand - watch the tread pattern, watch the wheel rim. You're watching for any regular anomalies - bulge in the tire, sudden dodge to one side in the tread pattern, any imperfection in the wheel. If you don't find anything that jumps out at you, repeat that test at the right REAR wheel. Also, for both wheels, note whether you feel brakes binding as you spin the wheel. The brakes should give you just a little resistance to hand turning, but not very much. Hope this helps

Sorry for the late reply here didn't see this post till Davy buzzed me up & tuner88 as well. So here goes, @throttle, its advised to go for the agents for servicing (servicing NOT repairs) since they will have all the records at one place for when it come the time where u want to sell the car, the 1st place a potential buyer would call is the agents to get the history of the said car. That said IF you get the proper oils and filters and your knowledgeable enough you could do the servicing else where as well but do keep in mind this isn't all that a good idea. Spare parts can be sourced from the agents as well as outsiders. even the agents will opt to go for recon parts IF u say that's okay rather than new. You also can contact MacF**ce who will get parts from their contacts. So far i have not gotten any issues in sourcing parts...IF all things fail you can opt for eBay, eBay Australia or even Yahoo Japan Auction. Price range will differ from A/T to M/T. depends on what you are looking at. I think you will be looking at a price range of 2 - 2.4mil. Right about now the question is to find a properly kept B4. there were a few in the market several months back i am not sure if they are still. IF you do find one call the agents give the plates and see if they have come for regular servicing etc coz they will let you know if the car is good or if its a Lemon IF any questions mate pop in on the thread and will reply. Hope this helps.

Install Google translator... very handy to have with you when u want to decipher all this

maybe it was coming to that point but anyway this was the only solution i found and having proper bulbs for proper headlight housing is better than having HID's flashing all over the place even at bats up trees Lol
-
but wouldn't more light mean more heat inside the headlight housing which was designed for a 55/60w??
-
haha i am highly offended mate... well my issue was this, even after i put those 100w bulbs with relays and all it took a tole on my head light n indicator stalk. Sadly the stalk was burnt, which was replaced also it has the wear on headlight housing coz of heat. so tried HID's which was a complete waste, light all over the place but not the road... finally solution came in the form of Osram bulbs
-
It does say the life expectancy is some what limited but to be honest have been using them in my previous car and it gave more light output n visibility than the 100w bulbs from NARVA. Before After
-
it seems its not that much of a good idea to do so just for the sake of the manufacture year, and also this is no guarantee that u will be able to get a car with better condition than the one you have now. the interior n exterior might look like a new but mechanical wise might be ruined. you are better off using the car u have now for sometime, save up n get a much newer one preferably something over the 2010
-
Got mine through England land cost around 6,500LKR best bulbs i have used... m not sure now but the rise on USD might set you back a bit more now

A Place To Repair Meter Board Glass/cover ....
Muditha420 replied to GKWKK's topic in General Automotive
Doubt it you can find only the plastic cover though, even IF u could the shop owner or anyone wont be helpful on it. btw put an image to see the extent of the damage this might be helpful in finding a place to repair it. -
I thought you sorted this out? i wasn't able to find the colour as well but did u try asking Toyota itself IF not why not match a colour to the trim?

Vehicle Transferring And Registration Procedure
Muditha420 replied to zareekz's topic in General Automotive
For the normal transfer you dont need those as long as you have signed the MTA6 by all parties, if only one day transfer you need all those ID's n letters of the previous owner. (correct me if m wrong here). think you can go so long as your father has completed all the documentation.- 96 replies
