    The previous good year tyres I have also had this issue on the front left tyre, at first i thought somebody cut it off or the dog had a go at it. Had to change it anyway for the new tyres.

    Why is the Reg no so important more than the car condition to some? Unless you want a specific number to reflect your car make/model or engine size. and Why is he thinking of resale value even before registering the car and having fun driving it? One of my friends went the other way round by taking a CAA instead of a CAB no wonder how many people would want COC on their plates..

    Whats the reason you want to buy the used tyres? the size you have given is a common one so you should be able to find a brand set for a reasonable price. One of my friends tyre size was available in Lanka so untill it was shipped we got one from this mount place. It was a continental with 4mm thread left with even grooves. for that sort of situation it was good to have a used tyre shop like that.

    Try US car parts in Dehiwala. One of my friends replaced an allion mirror brand new one was cheaper than recon from most other places.

    Hi Tilvin, Since these days are hotter than usual why dont you put to 16 and see if it gets cooler quicker. Still if you feel its not sufficient go to Aruna @ Throve Automobile. He will sort you out.
