Don't think you can buy the Hybrid Axela for 4.8M. Once of my friends checked one out and it was 5.9M( 2014 one)

One of my friends bought a 3 from colonial. it was then 5.3M. I believe it is 5.7 now. The Axela Hybrid is 5.9M. The notable difference is the 2L engine, electronic climate control, seat heaters, head up display)Even with all the options and gadgets on the Hybrid my friend decided to on the Mazda 3 because, 1. Fuel was not an issue for him. 2.There was no proper documented warranty from the seller who had the Axela. 3.At Colonial they told that there was an Axela with a cracked windscreen waiting for a replacement from colonial. Even they could not find one from Japan as the Mazda 3 and Axela windscreens are two different sizes. (according to them) An another friend said his friends Axela is doing about 17-20 KMPL in Colombo. Like Supra said best is to get used 6 or a brand new 3. The 3 and the 6 looks the best on the current market for that price range.

When you bought a 2014 car didn't you want/check if Cruise control was there? Does your highest spec axio have cruise control? If so check if you got the dummy wiring on the same spot on your car & check with a specialist on Toyota and see if you could get a used cruise control stalk and fit it. Might need programming. Cruise control can be retro fitted in Peugeot's by getting a used stalk and programming on Peugeot planet.

307 has a dual speed fan.

Next time you take the car and drive for a while, Open the hood and carefully just check all parts of the radiator is hot? If a core or a couple of cores are cold it means the radiator is blocked. Please take caution doing this. Once mine was overheating due to a faulty radiator/expansion pressure cap. Could be simple as that. ( But since you don't have any loss of coolent not sure this applies to you).

Since you mentioned the gearbox issue is it running on high revs than usual?when do you put on huge ignition does your fans come even on the first start? Also check your thermostat valve? Could be clogged.

If you like a particular model that mean you have done some research to an extent and you know about it. Just buy it. Enjoy the drive.why would you spend 2.8M and buy your neighbors or work colleague choice of car?

Hi Everyone, Yesterday I lost my wallet and with it the driving licence and NIC. Could you guys please let me know the process of getting these two replaced ? According to the DMV site it's a matter of informing the police and give a NIC or passport to get it replaced. But,when I went to Wellawatta police and they told me I need a gramaseva certificate. If anyone could share the details on getting these replaced would be appreciated. Many thanks .
