are you sure there is a dipstick to check ATF level in a 141? AFAIK all newer cars come with a lifetime oil. there is no place to add oil. just an inaccessible nut on the side through which you can top up though.. there no drain plug as well.

try Jtec auto parts at panchikawatta or else there is a subaru parts dealer near udawatta maruti parts dealer.. if u ask ppl there they will direct you. its on an upstair building. (on top)

if supplying a 12v live wire from positive battery terminal to starter motor start solenoid wire starts the car then you have a shifter problem. automatic cars willl not start if the gear is not in park position.

Not sure. try palathsabha pajero. but i dont think it will fit. u will hav to get a reconditioned hub set or complete differential of (4DR5) jeep

check at BCC watta or alahakone watta in panchikawatta.

problem with TPS (throttle position sensor) or MAP/MAF. check these out. best way is to do a scan.

if tightening it doesnt help, then replace.. price ranges inbetween 600 to 1200 for the belt.

Dude come on man! how can you b burning more fuel when your cruising in neutral? unless you dont take your foot off the gas pedal that is! lol if the fuel is cut off from the injectors, then the engine will stall. the only time 'fuel cut' kicks in is when the engine over revs above the limit and the ECU cuts the signal to the fuel pump to minimise or prevent engine damage. Hope you got this sorted out.

well, i have a legacy RS twin turbo engine complete with front sub frame suspension KIT still intact with shock absorbers and wires with battery terminal. also rear AWD unit differential, driveshaft , rear subframe and shocks all together and complete exhaust system. Will sell it off for 250000 as i no longer need it. i got this down from japan as a spare for my Legacy B4 but never needed anything. my car is for sale so no use keeping this with me. so my loss is your gain. i got this down for 4lks. had to buy a whole car to get this. The sad part is dat some dope bastard had stolen the radiator and fan shroud set when it was lying at the front porch. A 2C turbo radiator was also taken away wit this! thieves!! damn u!

seems just rust build up. when the cores get blocked, the radiator tends to overflow since the water cannot go through the cores. the first thing to do is to drain out the water and keep the radiator filling with a garden hose flowing water while the engine is worked up to optimum temp so that all rust n mud will be rotating when the thermostat valve opens. of course the rad cap has to be removed at the start itself. then use a flush if needed and top up with a litre of coolant after the cleanup. a full gallon ud also do the job!

lol that doesnt have anything to do with climate control ac. but it could be from an A/c relay, headlight/parklight relay, turn signal flasher (if security system is installed) or you have a loose fuse somewhere. if you could explain further as to when this sound comes and wat changes happen as this sound comes then we may be able to shed some light on this.

c11 carbs is ok. practically same engine. c12 is different. c12 has electric valves to operate the carb. you will have to replace distributors as well if u go fot that. fixing bolts from top and bottom are not a prob. fixing from top means the thread is on the manifold and u fix the bolt from top four corners of the carb. fixing from bottom means the thread is on the carb flange. the bolts should be tightened from under the manifold. both have the same housing and adapter flange. both fits. BCC bridge area /bmc watta is the best place to search for them. best of luck.

sorry for the delay buds. i was outta country. u can find lancer box engines at niroshan motors in wattala. they have old car engines. ive seen VW beetle parts, lancer engines and nissan b12, b13 engines and parts. hope my info is useful and my delay was inevitable.

the oil is lifetime. you dont have to change it. theres no dip stick to check the level. only a nut on the side to add oil if theres a leak. then again how the heck do we check if there is any oil or not?? thats one serious flaw in newer cars. its the same in toyota vitz as well.

if its a B12, then just tighten the alternator belt. excuse me if im too late as i assume you must have rectified it already :-)

you dont need to replace the engine to make your car power steering. just buy a power steering pump and fix it to your existing engine. 4G12, 4G13, and 4G15 engine types all have the same pumps. there is no power steering rack for this model. it comes with a power steering box. heres a link to the pic http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo26/karl_01_2009/05062010007.jpg a new engine will cost you 75000/= without gbox. kinda expensive. old it gets, the more expensive the parts get. its advisable to repair your old engine depending on the condition.
