  1. What vehicle model are you talking about? If I am not mistaken any HIDs above 6500K is illegal to use on the road. So it must be reconditioned cars you are talking about.
  2. If the road is smooth and wet, the fog light will reflect off the road surface. If you have HID fog lights it's even more dazzling for the oncoming driver. This has happened to me many times.
  3. Does he not have a problem with monkeys?
  4. whoops, I think you misinterpreted. I meant if he has another income he should invest in stocks. Like you said 100k is enough.
  5. Lol...what makes you think I'd want YOUR help?...Sorry mate,I don't trust homosexuals. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. You should trust your self or you will be a dick for the rest of your life
  6. LOL, resale value. On that alone I recommend a blackberry or iphone. Why? Other brands continuously reduce their prices once a phone has been launched. Blackberry and Apple don't do that. So I guess it will have the best resale value.
  7. The stock market is a rich man's game. Unless you have more of where that 5 mil came form, I wouldn't recommend it. Especially with the Sri Lankan market you have to be careful. A lot of insider trading, so get a reputed broker.
  8. The limit to hand carrying currency to UK with out declaring is £7000. The ATM and card method is also another way. My bank manager recommended it to me. I know commercial bank doesn't charge for UK withdrawals. If you were kind enough to show me your rust buckets I would have "carried" it for you. I don't know if your friend will receive it though...
  9. Dunno if this will help anyone, but sky has launched a dedicated F1 channel. You get some interesting documentaries on it if you got time to kill.
  10. You can laugh, even I do at your ridiculous posts... but answer my question(psst it's not rhetoric). Do you defuse situations or aggravate it? I think it's time you passed the ball.
  11. The worst mod I have seen. Instead of diffusing a problem you add to it with your utterly useless comments. Maybe you should leave. Autolanka would be a happier place
  12. Jupiter group are the local agents. So check with them. I think you can buy directly from them also.
  13. This happened to me me back in school days! I wrote my end of term papers with a parker pen, and by the time it came to correcting the papers it had faded. In the end I had to meet one of the teachers at school during the holidays while she was correcting my paper cuz it had faded so much it was not readable. Needless say I got high marks for that paper
  14. They still catch for tint. They even have a paper printout of the gazette to show copped motorists.
  15. This is where my prius badge ended up....
  16. hahaha looks like my comments burt into your balls you call a brain. I still want to see your rust buckets.
  17. Total tax will work out to about 51%
  18. The map dvd system is under the passenger seat. If it was working before hand the map dvd might still be in there. Eject and put it back in again. Move the passenger seat as forward as possible......and access from rear
  19. It could also be because one of the wheel weights have fallen off. Check all wheels to see if they are there and in the right quantity.
  20. I too went to Dodangoda exit and back to Kottawa saw the same vehicles you mentioned. Point to note, if there is a broken down vehicle on the hard shoulder the left lane is also closed off by the authorities. I guess this is because the hard shoulder can't accommodate a vehicle. Hopefully when the traffic builds up there will be more rescue vehicles to facilitate all the break downs! Dogs are still a big problem, I had my heart in my mouth on a couple of occasions! Saw the same dogs both ways. On a better note, and to get the petrol heads worked up....a 2nd gen Prius running on 93 octane will manage 65mpg ~ 27kmpl at a constant speed of 110 km/h! NPP said the road isn't smooth some places, but comparing to newly built motorways in UK it's not an issue. Unless you are driving a high vehicle with totally worn off suspension!
  21. Only because in US they drive on the wrong side of the road!
  22. no chance, you can barely see the road with all the trees covering it.
  23. I would put this down to the dealership not having any UK imports and trying to sell their JAP imports. Although rust would build up if there is any undercarriage damage, doesn't matter if it's UK or JAP import. Given the case, logic would state UK imports would develop rust faster than a JAP import because of the longer time at sea (Uk 4 weeks, JAP 1-2 Weeks). So you should check the under carriage for damage on any vehicle before you buy it. Reconditioned car buying 101! We have a UK Navara for about a year now, and no complaints of rust!
  24. Is there a video of the evo 3 and GTR? I would love to see it.
