Thank you very much guys. I have also identified the part from this oil pump diagram (number 10), according to this and as all of you mentioned, it’s the oil control valve and the leak is probably due to a faulty O ring in the control valve. I'm thinking of ordering it through the site. Total cost with shipping is around $16. Part number is 16118-51KA0-000. Is this the correct product? Is thing only one O ring in this? Dear friends, My Father's 2008 JDM Suzuki Swift (zc71s) is having this engine oil leak. As shown in the image and as far as I can understand, this leak is from a sensor point, is this the crankshaft position sensor? How do I rectify this issue? Your valuable opinion is highly appreciated. Thanks guys

tiv mate, I finally managed to buy one 2014 JDM, X Grade, Jet black with black interior, millage 16000 km, came with da SD card and the navigation panel is working just fine. (finding in and around the settings is a breeze thanks to Google translate) Getting to know my new toy these days, any idea on how to change the language to English in the dashboard? What is the difference between D Eco and B Eco modes? How often do we need to do the services? Thanks a lot

Hello everyone, I'm new to the LEAF world. How do you set up the power connection at home to charge the leaf? Thank you all

First of all Thanks a lot for sharing your leafy experience with us, in your opinion from the JDM versions which one is better the "S" or the "X"? (to be honest the "G" is way over my budget) Since importing a LEAF is out of the question now, any place you recommend to go any buy?

hi, I'm looking for a 2008 Toyota Passo owners manual, can you please help...
-
After lots of hunting I managed to find a nice excellent condition 2008 Toyota Passo which does good on fuel. We went to Katharagama and it did an average of 18.1 km/L up and down. City running is of course between 11 - 12 km/L. Bought it for 25.60 which I think is quite reasonable for it's state. A big Thank you goes out for all the people who gave me advice and guidance in buying this...
-
no offence mate but doesn't the Passo have a better resale value compared to the Punto? I mean com on, I don't want to get stuck with a Passo forever...
-
Machan thanx a lot for your thoughts and views about the Passo, you have clearly impressed me and whole a lot of autolanka members with the videos. The fuel economy is truly unbelievable... can you please let me know if its a 1000 cc or 1300 cc model? Thanx once again. Cheers

Thank you all for the feedback u guys gave me I really appreciate it yeah guys can't agree with u more. The Swift is an awesome ride compared to the other two, but isn't the Passo better when it comes to fuel economy in comparisson with the Swift?

Thanx a lot man...

Hey guys, thinking of upgrading my ride Got utterly fed up looking for used cars after the recent price hike, so I had to trim my budget a bit. My budget is around 2.5 Mln, maximun 2.7 Mln, did some research and found the 2007 Toyota Passo and the 2007 new Nissan March AK12 with the silver rim. The reason why I'm sticking to small cars is because my wife is also driving it and she can't handle a big sedan, i know too bad for me but what to do. I know the March is bad on fuel compared to the Passo, but its a bit cheaper. can u guys please enlighten me on what to buy from these two? or any other used small car which is fuel efficient and relatively not so old (2007 or above) that I might have missed. Any 2007 Passo or 2007 March AK 12 users please give me your experience on these two. Thanx a lot guys...

Hi Guys, I'm planing to import a 2009 Dec/ 2010 Jan Toyota Vitz SCP90, auction grade 4 car from Japan. I studied some online auction site statistics and seems like we can get hold of one for about 650,000 Yen. (average) But I'm a bit concerned about the duty that I will have to pay at the port, according to my knowledge this is what I have gathered so far and guys please correct me if I'm wrong... Lets assume the car will cost 650,00 Yen at the auction, (check attached image) 1. FOB price = 650,000 Yen 2. Depreciation value for car (more than 1 and a half years but less than 2 years) = 70% check SL customs site 3. Lets say for Insurance + freight + Auction charges + additional accessories = 300,000 Yen 4. Total Duty as % of CIF = 120.5750% check tariff calculator According to this, 1. CIF value = (650,000 x 0.7) + 300,000 check SL customs site = 755,000 Yen 2. Total Duty = 755,000 x 120.5750% = 910,000 Yen 3. Total cost for car = 1665,000 Yen x 1.4141 = Rs. 2354,000 I wonder if I have made any mistakes but this seems pretty cheap for a car like this and it's too good to be true. The SL customs site says that they take the agent valuation for the FOB price and takes which ever is higher. How can we get the agent valuation price for this particular model? Does anyone know the agent valuation price for this? Are there any hidden charges which I haven't mentioned here? Please enlighten me guys, Thanx...

Hmmmmm..... that explains a lot I guess. Thanx for da tip. Considering my budget I refined my search and came up with da 2007 Lancer CS1 GL model, that goes for somewhere around 2.3 Mln. The GLX model is a bit expensive I guess.... But cool interior
-
Yeah bro, I didn't realize it until I got da comments from my fellow forum users, well now i'm aware of it, thanx for your concern . By da way what other attractive deals are you aware of? Please note it has to be something above 2003 with good fuel efficiency. One more thing, is da Cedia model the only CS2 that u get in SL? (newer models) B'coz some people have given some negative comments on its GDI engine considering da issue with da fuel injectors. Otherwise it's a nice car. Thanx again...
-
Thanx for da tip mate... so I guess its better to go for a 2007 CS1 for that price, I honestly thought it was a bit over priced when I mentioned it was 2.4 Mln, well now I know. But isn't da GLX model a bit expensive than da GL model? Thanx!
-
Comparing to the 2003 CS3 GLX model, how is the fuel economy and handling in the CS1 and CS2 models? (2003 onwards) Thanx...
-
Thanx for sharing ur thoughts, so since our petrol contains some sulphur anyway, (check here) a GDI engine is more likely to get a problem with their injectors I suppose. Anyways, assuming that there won't be a problem with da engine, what would you suggest to be a good buy? (considering looks, fuel economy, driving pleasure, spares but without da price factor) I actually love both of them... 1. 2003 Lancer CS3 GLX 1.6L 2. 2003 Lancer Cedia CS2 1.5L
-
Thanx for the quick reply Kush, ur car had a 1.3L engine, does it mean the 1.6 engine will not be so fuel efficient as da 1.3? the Lancer Cedia is also relatively cheap and it comes with a GDI engine, the interior is also quite similar, y did u say go for a non GDI? Thanx for sharing ur experience...

Hi guys greetings to all I'm looking for a good used car (coz there aren't any unreg ones for my budget!) to buy for about 2.3 - 2.4 Mln (2003 or above) I searched autolanka & da h*t ads and I came up with da 2003 Lancer CS3 GLX model (images attached), I haven't driven one before but it seems really nice with a 1.6 engine with manual transmission and a good looking interior. The sad part is I'm clueless when it comes to the fuel efficiency, engine issues, durability, resale value, spare parts, spare parts cost and maintenance of this beauty. Sorry guys I'm newbie to the Mitsubishi world (also to the forum ) I used to drive a 1999 Nissan Pulsar CJ II (already sold) and have a March K11 at da moment which is awful when it comes to fuel economy. Also I would like to know the differences between da Lancer CS 1,2,3 models, GLX and GLS models and da CK 1,2 models. So if there are any lancer experts here kindly please enlighten me Thanx a lot guys....
