I have the same issue. But it comes randomly. Sometimes I'm able to start her even when the engine is hot. But sometimes when engine hot, have to press the gas pedal a bit to start then the engine will run very low for couple of seconds and come back to normal speed. In cold starts it always starts fine.

Hi, I have a pretty basic thing to clarify from you guys. I was putting normal water to my car radiator until last service. At the service station they have flushed the radiator and added a coolant. Since I could see coolant is effectively doing its job at high revs especially when driving in E01, thought of using coolant regurarly instead of water. At service they used a 4 Litre can to top-up and I was using the remainder bit of the can until yesterday to top-up during mornings and it was emptied now. So I bought a new can today (pure coolant). Do I need to mix it 50 - 50 with water before using as the instructions say? coz at the service station they didn't mix it with water. Thanks !

Hi All, Just want to know the types of carburators available in Jap vehicles in SL context. What is the most popular one? pros and cons. My Lancer(1994) has a S type carb as my mech said (is it the SU type?). Please let me know some manitenance tips to keep it in good condition. Thanks in advance.

Yes that's what I'm thinking as well. Btw I'm quiet satisfied with my choice as it's not that bad on fuel and even if it's bad, it's not my highest concern. Just want to know whether the fact is correct in general.

Could Mitsubishi worse than Nissan on fuel? I got blasted from my relations when I bought my Lancer for not going for a commont type as Corolla or Sunny.

As police say the fire might have caused by a short circuit. One question. Is there any possibility to catch fire by engine over heating?

EP 82 would be a good option in terms of maintenance and fuel consumption. Or else a K11, not so good with fuel.

Same in my work place too. but they are usually looking at pen drives, dongles etc. but lot of guys infact take mp3 players inside without trouble. One thing I heard there is when somebody plug a pen drive to any of the desktops, an alert will fire to IT manager's blackberry and in the employee contract they clearly mention doing such thing will be entitled for termination. real bull shit. Wonder whether your work place refers to my one. -

The fog lamps look gorgeous. Well I haven't seen OEM spec fogs for CS that much in the road. Can anybody tell me where to find OEM fog lamps for a Lancer CB ? How much they roughly cost?

Try a Jap one. If you go for Indian it atleast has to be near brandnew to use 2 - 3 years without trouble. (Personally I won't buy even a brandnew Indian for above price)

You would be lucky if you can find a CK1 for the price as I have seen a 1996 CK1 advertised for 11.50 some time back. CB8s could also start from 11 upto around 13 and also you can easily find a CB2 for 11. If you can put some more money, could try for a Primera P11 which is a fantastic car.
