  1. They are in good condition at the moment and can use for a while.
  2. This article says why ATF filter should be changed. http://www.agcoauto.com/content/news/p2_articleid/168
  3. iRage, I too understand the importance of the changing transmission filter and will check with UM at my next visit and keep you updated with more details. Usually I drive 20,000km per year and hope next ATF change will come soon. . Anyway I have some priorities in the list like , replacing rear two tires, engine tune up, replacing two engine mounts (two engine mounts found broken when inspect at last service), replacing fuel filter. I do one by one according to my cash flow. I wish if I had an Uncle Aloysius who come and settle my all car maintenance bills secretly, I could have done all pending maintenance work at once
  4. I rechecked with a senior technician at UM and he said for Lancer CS series, this transmission filter comes in lifetime basis and they replace it only if any repair needed with transmission unit/open the chamber ,as this filter is mounted inside the transmission chamber. My car is 9.5 years old and 96,500km at the clock. ATF change done for the second time in two weeks ago. Still no issue found and transmission works smoothly. I am worry, without any issue, opening this transmission chamber and if anything done/goes wrongly there, this would be a "Illan kema". . So decided to leave it as it is (as happen with other CS units here). I hope to keep this vehicle may be for next 3 years and if anything goes wrong under my ownership with that is my "karume"
  5. I checked with UM and they say that they replace ATF only. I checked both Service Booklet and Owner's Manual, but nothing mention about Transmission Filter or replacing it. However seems this Transmission filter comes with a gasket and need a proper job to replace it. http://www.brettsfilters.com.au/p/9141229/jt215k-auto-transmission-filter-kit-azumi-jt23215k-mitsubishi-md758684-mitsubishi-carisma-mitsubishi-colt-mitsubishi-lancer-mitsubishi-space-sta-.html Found few videos about transmission filter changing. I will check about transmission filter matter on my next visit to UM. Anyway thanks @iRage I learnt a lot from you.
  6. Yes, correct. Car came with factory fitted alloys including spare wheel.
  7. iRage, I have never heard this before and even UM never mentioned it. Also not seen it on service instruction manual , but surely I will recheck it. Thanks. When I checked with parts manual, I see such a filter, probably the one you mentioned. When googled found the item as follows. @Davy , @trinity Any idea about this?
  8. Three months passed under my ownership. Some maintenance work done at agents. (1) ATF changed by ATF changer. (Perodua section never use ATF changer for ATF changing but Mitsubishi section does) (Mitsubishi Diaqueen ATF SP3, 10 liters – Rs.16,320 , Labour – Rs.2,106 ) (2) Lubrication service done. (Materials & Labour Rs. 11,874) Mitsubishi Oil filter code : MD360935 (3) Cabin Room Bulb replaced (Mitsubishi Code : MF820513) (4) Boot lid lock was unable to open by the key when I purchased the car. Lock barrel taken out , treated with WD40 and lubricated. Now it works pretty fine and smoothly. (5) Right side front wheel hub bearing was noisy. Replaced it. Mitsubishi code: 3885A001 , OEM manufacturer: NTN, Bearing cost : Rs.10,154 & Labour cost Rs.2,886) (6) For the time being aftermarket door visor set installed. Not that bad. Many thanks to @trinity for introducing me https://partsouq.com/ Once you entered chassis number of the vehicle, it gives all genuine part numbers with relevant diagrams. Very useful. (Previous owner @Rusiru Sooriyakumara was a frequent reader of Autolanka. I invited him to join to AL forum and now he is here. Welcome to AL Rusiru !!!)
  9. There are many possibilities. There is a gap between so called creation & posting the CR. Also it may post to different address and you are checking with the post office relevant for you. It might returned back to RMV. Visit RMV and ask them to show the registered post reference number.
  10. Yep. By the way watch below video. This shows the internal structure of the unit cluster too.
  11. I remember another good looking CS2 was there with 70k at odo for sale sometime back. Could not visit. It was silver colour unit and if my memory correct had KM-xxxx plate. Very rare to find this CS2 units. Nice to hear that you found a good unit. As far as I know Lancer Virage is Taiwan version. I have seen Lancer CS version is very famous in Taiwan. Try with Taiwanese sources to check the panel. Does this CS2 miss the tachometer?
  12. For Sure this is JDM and I guess it is CS2 YOM 2007. (May be same unit I found when I was seeking)
  13. I am not sure about you are specifying Mazda 323 , 4th generation or 5th generation. (Transition year was 1985 between two generations) My father used a brand new imported Mazda 323 as his official vehicle when he was working at NHDA. NHDA purchased 6 or 7 units of Mazda 323 (Sedan) 5th generation from Carmart (14 Sri 76xx) in 1987 February. Lovely cars came with different metallic colours. Can remember all cars were 4 forward gears (hope 1.3L variant) except white coloured unit was 5 forward gears (hope 1.5L variant). Funny thing was it came with only Right side mirror and additionally installed the left side mirror by Carmart within very first week. No A/C. Radio cassette, dash board brightness adjustable, rear wiper, metal center caps on wheels, owners manual and also provided a small paint pot for touch-ups. Still remember how I enjoyed brand new smell of the car ; 14 Sri 7665 as a 10 years old child. Few years ago I was surprised to see an advertisement on AL classifieds , such unit of 323 up for sale. Very low mileage about 50K and interior and exterior was in brand new conditions. It also had two keys with owners manual and as it was single owner car. It is hard, but do search and you can find a better maintained unit. These cars have very simple technology and never gave any trouble those days. And I also see many 323 hatchback units are on roads and seems some how they manage spares as well even after 30 years.
  14. If it is 1.5 and CVT I guess it is a JDM. Is it a brand new import or JDM? As far as I know some 1600cc CS3 brand new imports came with INVECS-II 4AT with Sports Mode. (Pretty rare units see among classifieds and if I am not mistaken only two units advertised to sell within last 3-4 months. One red colour unit and one silver colour unit) No idea about CVT version.
  15. Below is the last CS version offered for brand new imports in 2012. (Photo found from the net) (This is just for information and hope posting this will not violate any forum rule)
  16. I guess manumatic means the tiptronic version. This came with CS3, 1600cc versions with later years. (Not sure it offered with CS2) Photo: 2011 CS3 brand new imported Below are the 04 meter cluster patterns I observed when I was hunting mine. This is my CS1 (brand new imported) YOM 2007 (Very common) I found few units of JDM CS2 came with this.(YOM 2007) Later brand new imports 2011-2012 UK imported versions (Fog light switch also splited in to two units for front and rear fog lights) Hope you can identify the one you saw.
  17. Exactly not known. May be for the help of handicapped drivers. (Or may be work with drunken drivers ) May be some parking assistance while reversing. I guess surrounding holes are indicators. Any idea? TBT , do you know the manufacturing year of the vehicle?
  18. Further to the Davy's explain on trim levels, let me add more detail. (Considering 1st face-lift version & 2nd face-lift version) Trim levels offered to Sri Lankan market are GL & GLX. (1600GLX / 1300GLX / 1300GL) GLX is the highest. GLX has package options like Alloy wheels, Front Fog Lamps etc. (I have seen GLX units without Fog Lamps/ Alloy wheels / 6CD player) GLX has 3 different package option categories :– (1) Luxury Gray Package (2) Elegance Beige Package (3) Sports Exterior Package However detailed chart shows Fog lamps , 6 CD player can add as options for even GL trim level. But I see , when considering brand new imports, all additional options added to only GLX and might be it was the way Unit#d Mot#rs offered the trim levels to Sri Lankan market. (All detailed based on sales brochures/catalogs issued by Unit#d Mot#rs only)
  19. Today I received relevant sales brochure of my car (2nd face lift) from kind gentleman of UM on my request. Pre face-lift, 1st face-lift and 2nd face-lift catalogs are appear as follows. (Pre face-lift copy gifted to member Trinity)
  20. Thanks guys for your lovely B'Day wishes !!! Yes, now I wash my B'Day present daily.
  21. Thanks guys for your lovey wishes. Have some ideas for some cosmetics upgrades. (1) Urgently I am looking for good door visors. I am happy if I can find out an original set, not cheap thin aftermarket set. (2) Reverse camera. (3) Rear spoiler
