Hi all, I have a Toyota Vitz 2011 (KSP130). After I recently changed the battery, the engine started vibrating much more than before when its idle/brake. It already had some vibration issues earlier, but this has made it worse. I tried the idle relearn procedure from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPrnH6VRBsI It didn't help. I’m aware that this model has a history of engine vibration issues that is linked to the engine mounts, which I replaced a couple of years ago. But that isn't the issue because the vibration was not worse before the battery change. From what I can tell, the idle RPM is dropping too low now, which causes the engine to shake noticeably when idling. It had a higher RPM before the battery change. Is there a way to manually increase the idle RPM to reduce the vibration? Or is there another fix I should try?

I need some advice. My vehicle is valued at 5.5 mil. I got full cover and I pay around 1 lak premium. I don't drive often or do long trips. Out of 10 years of driving i never got in to any major accidents, just scratches and dents only. So the repairs cost me very less than what I pay for insurance. I want the full cover but I'm considering to lower the value of my vehicle to reduce the premium. Do you think that's a good option? Are there any consequences reducing the value? Will there be any issues when I claim for minor accidents?

I had 2 accidents last year and i claimed both which amounted to Rs.52000. This year the insurance premium has been increased when I questioned they said "There were Two claims intimated and premium higher than last year." Is that how it works? I'm bit puzzled, How does claiming has an impact on the premium, how do they calculate? FYI. Last year premium was: Rs. 49,075 This year premium is increased to: Rs. 83,011

Hi, I need some advice. I recently bumped my car to a wall and the front left door and the front bumper got badly damaged. The insurance agent(A*****z) quoted 35,000/- but the damages looked like it would cost more. I asked him and he said if it cost more to talk to the insurance company. I received the 35,000/- in 2 days. So now what should I do? Should i go to my garage and get an estimate for the repairs and if its higher than what the insurance quoted should i contact them? Or will the garage deal with them directly? I have a bad feeling that this is going to drag so i need your advice on how to approach this correctly please.

I recently changed a tyre which is re-conditioned. Its a Pirelli tyre and not much tread wear but it was loosing air through a puncture possibly caused by a nail. So i got it patched and the air was still leaking. So they tried to patch in 2 layers and it was still leaking. They said since patching isn't working they recommended to try put a tube. I don't know much about tires but i know its a tubeless tyre so how does putting a tube in a tubeless tyre fix it? (sorry if i sounded dumb)..or is there a better way to fix?

Thanks for the advice guys. I would like to first try the trim restorer and see how it looks before trying anything else. I want it to look as close as the original. I don't want to paste any stickers making it look fancy. But I agree that the carbon fibre sticker would look pretty cool. terrabytetango & Sylvi, where can I get this black trim restorer? Guys, I need your help... While I was washing my car, I scratched the side window sash(the black plastic piece) accidently by sandpaper. That's right sandpaper. Don't ask how it happened, but it did I have highlighted the exact area I'm talking about. The pic is not mine but that's the car I have;Toyota Vitz 2012. Now there is a white patch in that area. Just like it would look when you scratch plastic. It's not a deep scratch but under sunlight it's visible and looks unattractive because of the black colour. I'm not sure whether that piece can be detached easily or it needs removing the door screws to take it apart. So, how should I get this fixed? Will spraying black paint over it do? Or do they sell this part separately so I can replace it? Please help... Thanks

I got my seat covers done for my Vitz(2011) at Car Tailors. And yes, they removed the seats. With regard to sensors, there were no issues during the process.

Hi, I'm planning to get my first car and I'm looking for a sporty hatchback. I'm in a dilemma between the new Toyota Vitz(KSP130) and Mazda Demio. I've got some deals: Demio - 35mil Vitz - 4.2 ~ 4.4 mil I don't know whether it's wise to spend over 4mil on the new Vitz. I feel its a bit over priced considering the features it offers. But I cannot find one for less than 4mil(a grey one). The only reason I'm considering the Vitz is because it's a Toyota! which has a good resale value. I've read several posts here on the Demio, where people highly recommend it. However, they warn about the poor resale value it carries. So what do you guys think is the best option for me?... My budget is 4mil. But I wouldn't mind extending a bit if it's really worth it.

Do they(Future Automobiles) have the Fiesta in stock or do I need to order and if so how long would it take? I heard that ordering a vehicle would take months to get it delivered via agents, atleast in the case with Kia Motors.
