Why buy a second hand allion without expecting any repairs.Lot of allions are hacked more than those 121s.Unless it has a service history of all those belt changes,mount,shocks etc it's going to be lemon car.You got to be really lucky to get a well maintained allion.

What to do.Given the toyotas in sri lanka it is the highest common model we can get at least with decent comfort.

What did the toyo guys said after the mount replacement?Did they perform an engine scan?Au...mi..guys use many 3rd party additives when performing trans oil changes.Not sure if finally it screwed the cvt.Did you check the car brakes?Specially the rear rotor brakes.Just before going for any repairs try another oil change at toyo..lanka not auto...mi.

The last oil change screwed up the cvt?wrong oil used?Too much oil put in?

Vitz is fine.But the engine noise is hard to get used to.

If it came with it it should have the healight adjustment switch near to your winker mirros switches.

Allion is a better car in many ways.Hardest part is finding a home used genuine car.Never buy from a car sale.If you are in a hurry get the vitz or else you will have to spend few months going from ad to ad to grab a good allion.

Sinhalese are people who lived under kings with strict rules.They never knew how to manage and think for themselfs.It is hard coded in their genes.Only way is heavy penalties and imprisonment.

It's very annoying to drive in city traffic.There's a pause and the car jumps forward and the moment car leeps forward the speed is too much than you wanted ,again you have to break soon.Feels like a noob manual driver.I drove a same allion without any issue.So it's not my driving style either.

Yes,That's what i meant.Some same year cars doesn't have that issue.No matter how good the service history some have that issue very prononuced.I guess it's same for the vitz,some are totally smooth.

Reminds me of my allion 260 2011.It does the same till to date.Toyota lanka says no issue.For some reason the hickup/pause feeling is more pronounced in some cars of the same model.I drove a 2007 allion and it didn't had that issue so pronounced,but drove a 2008 one and it was somewhat simmilar to mine.The only cure i found is to press the accelrator more than usual when reaccelrating after a slow down.(more than 1/3 of the pedal)I wonder whether the tires plays a role here.Back then when i bought the car it had hard nankang tires for front.But since i changes it to a softer dunlop i feel like the issue is more pronunced,so as i only felt there is a issue after changing the tires.May be a placebo effect.Still no real cure to the date.

Just goto a road side car sale and check whether you hear the same sound with other vitz cars.I test drove one and honestly thought there must be a hole in the cabin,sound insulation is really bad.

But does the local guys measure how much they're going to cut?I have seen youtube videos where they measure depth of the paint with a small gadjet.

But how do you wash the car bottom+under car wheels?

Just wandering how many cut & polish jobs you can get done before the paint goes away.
