Electric Steering somewhat feels bit hard compared to those old power steering in nissans,I know what you are trying to explain you don't get that water smooth like feeling with the electric one. It's normal.

Do an ecu scan first and check for errors bro..

But the point is it's really funny when a prius start to race.It may have a better acceleration and stuff, but still it feels odd.Everybody knows that it is made with green in mind and you buy a Prius with a battery for more fuel economy and to save few bucks from fuel and stuff,so once you start to race with that it makes you look worse than a ricer.I don't know just my opinion. But if you are looking for a car with good acceleration and fuel economy that's a good car to go with. But the racing mind and Prius doesn't go well together.

Lol no idea but about a month ago this guy with a white Prius really started to annoy me from behind with flashing headlights and race with me from pitakotte junction to thalawathugoda.I was in my mazda axela manual. To my surprise that prius had an amazing acceleration. Not saying my car is a race car by any means but got a real good competition than other toyota cars I have experienced.

I guess it's all down to your driving style, since it's a year do a tune up again, some filter, plugs changes and check ecu for any error codes..I noticed some fuel efficiency reduction when I started to use 92 octane over old 90 octane with my mazda 3,but it's not something I can prove.Anyway 1-2km difference always turns out to be the driving style.Drive like a grandma for about a week and see if it improves.

Steering Fluid Leaked And Can't Start Now
GayanR replied to Iroshw's question in Mechanical problems
why did you drive while knowing you had a massive leak...may be the power steering pump got locked up?have you checked whether the belt is in intact?are you sure it was steering fluid? -
I'm using the eagle nano wax spray once a month along with the eagle wash and wax weekly..no wax dust or polishing needed gives away a deep blasting shine..haven't seen a wax tube though, like to try out...

Check your taillight gaskets for leaks, run a hose through lights and check from behind the trunk, and also put the trunk beading in reverse(inside to outside),If it solves the issue its the beading...

Finally Got Money Now What !. Starlet, Kelisa, 110 Any Other? I'm Confused
GayanR replied to hiru555's question in Car Buying Information
Kelissa will be too small for you,not a car with good second hand value, space or parts availability..Take it out from the list. You are better off buying a starlet than a Toyota duet. It's rare and second hand value is not stable. You have a choice between ae110,starlet and mazda bj5p.Go for the petrol.. -
Finally Got Money Now What !. Starlet, Kelisa, 110 Any Other? I'm Confused
GayanR replied to hiru555's question in Car Buying Information
Hi hiru I'm not in a position to comment about starlet as I haven't owned one before but heard its really good ,But it is better not to think too much about every single detail, because it's all down to the car you brought when it comes to repairs, god knows what repairs will be waiting for u.May be there won't be any or you'll end up replacing every single part.Mind all these cars are well over 16 years old now. Since you are looking for a manual all the cars you mentioned will do just fine with petrol or diesel.I would recommend going for a petrol for a change and lesser repairs.Diesel spare parts are somewhat expensive than petrol versions and bit harder to come by when it comes to cars. Judging from your post feel like you still have affections for a van like feeling.Don't think too much of fuel and don't keep big hopes of other car doing 1km more, because once a repair comes all the savings from fuel go down the rain... Go for a starlet or a ae110,will do around 15+kmpl and there will be amble of parts, If you are looking for a newer car there is Mazda bj5p in that range My cousin uncle once had a corsa diesel almost committed suicide with it,had nonstop repairs Service cost for petrol will be lesser than a diesel.usually for an oil change, filter change vacuum and wash around 5000-8000 depending on the service center. Finally go for a car you like and prefer to keep, something to look back after a drive since you are hoping keeping it for 3+ years, because if you buy a ugly car just for the sake of 1km more fuel, once it started giving trouble you'll feel like burning it up.. -
I have seen some threads like that.Check it after the first service 3000km it should be fine..

Why don't you post a pic so we all can see the result.

Low Fuel Economy After The General Service
GayanR replied to Podi Lamaya's topic in General Automotive
Time to spend on what you have saved from fuel .Have they used a different brand of air filter?Other than that could be many possibilities.First drive it for a while just to see if there is any noticeable reduction in fuel milage.. -
Car Engine Races And Doesn't Move As Fast As It Should Be
GayanR replied to 4DR5's topic in General Automotive
No prob.If it turns out to be the clutch replace them only with genuine toyota parts or exedy clutch plates,There are way cheaper korean and Chinese plates hanging around,They fail quickly and result in further expensive repairs. -
Car Engine Races And Doesn't Move As Fast As It Should Be
GayanR replied to 4DR5's topic in General Automotive
That's a main symptom of clutch plate wear.when you are at a stop put the gear in 4th gear and try to release clutch and accelerate(accelerate fast),If the engine doesn't stop immediately, but the car starts to slowly accelerate your clutch plate is gone. It's not that expensive to repair. But If you are experiencing vibrations when releasing the clutch pressure plate may be bad too.How long have you been driving like this. When you are putting the new clutch ask them to machine the flywheel too.Slipping may have warped it. A bad coil pack can result in the same symptoms.First check the 4th gear test to be sure. -
Try it.Works really good, orange peels has this natural oil in them last about a month before drying up totally.unlike synthetic its really fresh inside.
-
This.I have read some articles saying that these air fresheners release a chemical called phthalates that contribute to various health and sterile issues..Should stop using them. And also leaving an orange peel in your car makes it smell realy fresh.
-
I have been using this for a while but I'm getting some bad headaches after a drive,I wonder if this is cancerous to use in a closed environment like in car without proper ventilation?..

This guy will wish if he was born deaf after coming out of the hospital...
