I yesterday learnt that, my 4x4 doesn't work properly 🤣, it engages from the 4×4 gear lever, but the front differential doesn't get locked, I assume since the rear wheels sunked, without turning the front 🙃. Can I know where I can get 4x4 issue checked. This is an Auto. It seems to be an expensive learning curve and that I have got caught to a vehicle which was not maintained properly too.

Thanks do you rememeber the place, or will it be very expensive. To buy brand new leaf springs, recondition is it an option, I have no idea at all about these and what to do, what would work better?

Actually I'm having a wagon r as my daily driver. If I drive 15kms on hilux it breaks my back and neck. And wearing a collar for the neck already because of it 🤒. Yes when I mention suspension. I'm thinking of shocks and leaf springs. When it hits a pot whole , it dive like a land master and then the rear bounces off 😁 Can I know a reliable place in some where around negombo to colombo or kadawatha to colombo. To get it checked. I'm new to maintaing old vehicles, and I believe the seat is too sunked and it might have an effect if I'm not wrong. If so will there be places I can buy relatively good seats or else, something good I can do for the seats while fixing suspension. Thanks iRage

Recently bought 2008 hilux, as soon as hits a pot hole it break my back, actually I got a neck pain driving for few kms. I need to know where I can get suspension checked, is there any way I can softer the suspension

Background for this question: Was positively waiting, to buy a Pick Up Truck for couple of years since the price was hiking. Right now I believe that wait is not going to work anymore. Requirements, 1) Budget around 60 Laks. 2) Should be four door four seater 4*4 Double Cab. 3) Re sale ability is very important due to purchasing on a Sellers Market, if things go very bad at least I will be able to cover up as much as I could. 4) Preferably an Automatic, still would consider Manual if higher resale ability creation model . 5) Reliability and Maintenance cost on the average ( Which doesn't have inherent issues, read of common rail issues not sure are they that bad as said) 6) Should be comfortable for long drive (If incase i can expect for the price looking for right now) Any same / different Options / Opinions are mostly welcome, would help me to broader my knowledge to make viable choice. Sorry for digging Very Old post. This is the actual average Tank to Tank fuel consumption you get out of a WagonR. Keep in mind this is Daily runner On Expressway both ways from JaEla to Dematagoda. 80% of the distance is has been on Express way and you will get an average of 17 km/l. Hi All, Here in Auto Lanka is there anyone using Wagon R Japanese model ?. Im looking for a day to day running car in Colombo rush hour traffic, since i have to travel 1500kms each month in rush hour traffic. Further reason for raising this question here, since I read some complaining getting 11-12km/l in Wagon R facebook group. Is it the actual average ? Thanks in advance

After MV-5 explained i realized,, Every now and then when i do put into reverse gear it makes "crrk" sound and wont engage the gear properly (gear shifter stops halfway). It engages soon after i put into first and then back again to reverse. Is it the synchronize cone issue Or clutch disengagement issue?? If both is it possible for me to replace parts separately? I will need not to replace the whole gear box right?

friends i did change the transmission oil, but still the problem persists. Its not like totally unchangeable but still,, u feel the difference. I noticed that changing from 3 to 2 at speeds around 20km/h is totally effort less.. thank you

Heloo !! I recently baught a FB15 manual, and i feel that its hard to shift firts to second and from third to second, when engine warms up(once it runs few kilometrs). Im not used to driving manuals and this is my first vehicle. so im new to vehicles. Is it some thing to do with clutch adjustment Or ? thnx in advance !
